ISO New England is the independent system operator responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable flow of electricity in our region and planning for the future of the electric grid. We are at the forefront of New England's ongoing transition to clean energy.

We have an important role to play in securing the region's clean and reliable energy future and seek folks from a variety of disciplines to join us! In this role, you will support the electricity industry stakeholder committees as part of the New England Power Pool (NEPOOL) Relations group in our Participant Relations & Services (PR&S) team. PR&S provides a wide-range of business support, training, and information for participants in New England's wholesale electricity markets and power system, from resolving individual technical questions to delivering big picture project plans.

The NEPOOL Relations group manages the regional stakeholder processes and committees through which new initiatives are vetted with participants, and solutions to regional energy challenges are collaboratively considered. Through the NEPOOL committees, the ISO advances proposed changes to its central functions of administering wholesale markets and reliably planning for and operating the power system, while complying with applicable laws and regulations. Those representing ISO New England in the committees' leadership roles are vital to ensuring a positive and productive working relationship with the ISO's Market Participants, as well other industry stakeholders.

How you will make an impact:

  • Coordinate stakeholder activity more broadly within the NEPOOL Relations group and with internal business units to ensure the ISO's external positioning is clear, constructive, and consistent
  • Support the NEPOOL Relations management team by identifying areas of interest to stakeholders and preparing logistical requirements for committee meetings
  • Maintains and develops the department's business procedure documents, business continuity plan, and records retention policy
  • Support material development, drafting, review, and finalizing
  • Serve as Secretary for a key NEPOOL working group and subcommittee
  • Support development of industry and ISO site visits
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary development teams on change initiatives and provide support to internal project leads on larger scope initiatives
  • Attend meetings and review, post, distribute, and maintain committee materials and records
  • Track and assist with accurate responses to stakeholder inquiries
  • Become trained and available for cross-functional support across the department, as needed

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, Engineering, Economics, Operations and Information Management, Public Policy, Legal Studies, Regulatory Affairs, or other relevant major
  • Strong technical writing and copy editing experience
  • Ability to work on a number of projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder/client relationships
  • Desired but not required:

    • An advanced degree
    • 5+ years of related experience
    • Demonstrated success working with stakeholders and/or with state and federal regulatory processes
    • Broad experience in and understanding of the electricity industry with prior experience in one of the following preferred: Transmission, Distribution, or Power Systems; Economics; Regulatory Law; or Government Affairs and Public Policy
    • Prior experience with Asana or other project management software

The JMETC program is focused on developing and deploying the processes, architecture, and BD/KM to facilitate cost effective integration of live, virtual, and constructive entities needed to support the DoD acquisition community testing needs utilizing a distributed testing approach. JMETC, TENA and CHEETAS will be integral to testing systems-of-systems applications within a realistic joint mission construct.
REQUIREMENTS
Masters degree in an Engineering / Technical field or Masters degree in a non-technical field with 20 years of Information Technology leadership experience within DoD.
Minimum of 20 years' experience to include the following:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor and respond to taskers by suspense dates, coordinating required actions.
  • Manage the Stakeholder Engagement inbox, handling inquiries and distributing updates.
  • Liaise with program offices to support internal and external communications.
  • Assist Quality Management in change efforts, providing SME input and documentation.
  • Maintain the Stakeholder Engagement Catalog for easy reference.
  • Organize divisional offsites, Lunch & Learns, and quarterly All Hands meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for New Hire Orientation and onboarding materials.
  • Create QUAD charts, internal publications, and weekly leadership messages.
  • Draft summaries of key accomplishments for distribution.
  • Design and publish newsletters (monthly internal, quarterly external).
  • Develop branding materials, fact sheets, brochures, and event content.
  • Capture photos and video for promotions, conferences, and leadership messages.
  • Maintain and update SharePoint, GovDelivery, and milSuite platforms.
  • Partner with DHA and MHS Communications for external messaging initiatives.
  • Support business transitions with targeted communication products.
  • Assist with PEO MS/CIO J-6 reporting and monthly taskers.
  • Prepare leadership briefings, media responses, and budget reports.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong familiarity with DoD structure and DHA mission.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, GovDelivery, and milSuite.
  • Creative problem-solver passionate about stakeholder engagement and communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years in communications, project management, stakeholder engagement, or related fields.
  • Experience managing communications initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience supporting federal health agencies, especially MHS or DHA.
  • Familiarity with branding, marketing strategy, and digital stakeholder outreach.
  • Background in event planning, content creation, and visual design tools.

The MetLife Data Governance Office (MDGO) is part of the Data and Analytics Organization (DnA) within GTO. Our mission is to implement an enterprise-wide model for the governance of data at MetLife to ensure consistency of usage and a high level of confidence in data-driven analytics and decision-making capabilities. To achieve this, we are partnering with other Data and Analytics (DnA) teams, Technology, and our business and functional partners to build and deploy the next generation data capabilities for MetLife as we head into our New Frontier strategy!
We are looking for a MDGO Data Governance Stakeholder Engagement lead with a track record of supporting enterprise data management policies/procedures, tools and integration projects. To be successful in this role, the candidate would require a balance of product-centric technical expertise, and a deep knowledge of DG practices, which includes but not limited to metadata management, metamodeling, lineage documentation, data stewardship, and technical DQ processes.
Success in this role requires very clear communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and interaction with senior business and IT partners around the world as well as peer program stakeholders, and technical staff. This role will collaborate closely with stakeholders across business lines, corporate functions, and partners in InfoSec, Risk, Privacy and more to ensure tight connections across our globally federated teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead engagements with leaders across MetLife, serving as the face of the MetLife Data Governance Office, to ensure their success in implementing MetLife's Data Governance and Data Quality policies, standards and best practices.
* Coordinate in guiding program data governance implementation.
* Interact with business analysts and functional analysts offering expertise and guidance regarding requirements and implementation.
* Collaborate with the extended program team and provide expertise regarding proposals including high level data solutions, estimates and implementation plans.
* Provide support to program teams throughout the data lifecycle around data governance, ownership accountability, responsibility, data quality and data quality issue management
* Appetite to learn new technologies and be inclined to innovate.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
* Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex data governance and quality content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience as SME consulted for guidance on Data Governance and Quality practices and tooling.
* Demonstrated experience in providing support for Data Governance processes preferably either financial or insurance company setting.
* Strong project management skills. Experience working enterprise complex large scale, multi-team, programs.
* Bachelor's degree in data management, data sciences, computer science or related field
Preferred:
* 5+ years' experience in enterprise-wide implementation of Data Governance, Data Quality or Data Management programs.
* Strong technical program management skills.
* Experience with Collibra, Ataccama, EDC, IDQ and other Data Management tools.
* EDMC DCAM/CDMC Certified
* Expertise in Python and experience writing Azure functions using Python/Node.js.
