ROLE OVERVIEW: This Account Executive serves a critical role for the Elevate team operating at Stanford Athletics. Tasked with delivering on annual ticket sales revenue goals, this role will be part of a groundbreaking collaboration between two powerhouse brands and offers one of the best opportunities for immediate impact, project profile, and ability to lay a strong foundation for your career in the growing space of collegiate athletics at Elevate.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Account Executive position will be responsible for driving ticket sales revenue through the combination of new business sales and account retention.
  • Sell season ticket plans, multi-game packages, and group tickets for select athletics programs.
  • Achieve a minimum number of predetermined touchpoints each day from lead lists provided, and generate own leads through referrals, networking, and social selling.
  • Prospect new business through outbound phone calls, delivering virtual presentations and executing in-person, face to face meetings, as necessary.
  • Effectively upsell incoming sales calls for opportunities to sell season ticket plans.
  • Meet or exceed assigned ticket sales and/or retention goals.
  • Contribute positively to a competitive sales team culture and participate in sales team meetings and training sessions
  • Work events as assigned to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives
  • Be attentive and respond to all season ticket holder and customer requests, concerns, and inquiries.
  • Effectively qualify and service incoming calls and/or in person meetings to customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for up-sells, add-ons, and referral business from clients to maximize revenue.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of existing season ticket holder and general fan events
  • Provide knowledge and assist members with managing their accounts online through Account Manager
  • Assist in game day duties, including but not limited to, hosting member events and servicing ticket holder needs.
  • Any other duties assigned by Management

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 1-2 years of sales experience, preferred within ticketing
  • Familiarity with CRM systems & processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

**Job Summary:** **EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS)** **has an immediate need for a Building Engineer II on the Stanford Medicine project in the Tri-Valley / Livermore Bay Area.** Responsible for operation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of building related mechanical, electrical, control systems, plumbing, air handling units, pumps, heat exchangers, expansion joints, and other building mechanical systems. Work involves the lifting of heavy mechanical equipment and apparatus and may be performed in areas of extreme heat or cold. Receives and responds to service calls, takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
-Operation, replacement, repair, and maintenance of all related mechanical, electrical, control systems, air handling units, pumps, motors, heat exchangers, and expansion joints.
-Install electrical circuits
-Repair all restroom fixtures, sweat / braze copper pipe.
-"Safe off" systems to facilitate repairs.
-Replace ceiling tiles, repair or replace door hardware, locks, panic bars etc.

**Qualifications:**
- **Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the operation of central building equipment, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and / or electronic systems. Experience & proven ability to repair building electrical, plumbing, & HVAC auxiliary systems.**
-Experience & proven ability to safely secure hydronic and electrical systems for maintenance.
-Experience & proven ability to Braze / Solder copper pie, thread black pipe. Basic carpentry skills.
-Strong knowledge of operation of building auxiliary systems i.e. fire-life safety, stand by emergency generators, UPS Systems.
-Familiarity of general building systems i.e. vertical lift equipment, overhead doors. Ability to write, execute written and oral instructions and perform arithmetic calculations. Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures typical for maintenance operations.

**Position Overview:**
Stanford University invites applications for the position of Director of the Stanford Language Center (SLC), a tenured faculty position at the rank of full professor within one of the language and literature departments in the School of Humanities & Sciences. Founded in 1995, the SLC oversees the development, implementation, and assessment of language instruction at Stanford. Stanford is seeking an experienced and innovative leader to shape the future of second language acquisition education at one of the world's premier research institutions.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide strategic leadership for the SLC, ensuring the continued development of its programs and initiatives, while monitoring language instruction in over 40 languages, including program assessment, faculty development, student proficiency ratings, and instructor evaluations.
+ Provide leadership in the training and development of Teaching Assistants, including through required coursework.
+ Represent the SLC in university-wide initiatives and advocate for language education in Stanford's broader academic mission.
+ Coordinate with key constituencies, especially faculty in the Division of Literatures, Cultures and Languages and the Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures.
**Qualifications:**
+ A Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field, such as applied linguistics, language pedagogy, literary studies, or second language acquisition.
+ Demonstrated excellence in teaching and leadership in language education.
+ A record of scholarly contributions to language acquisition, pedagogy, or related areas.
+ Well-versed in ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines and World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages.
+ Administrative experience in language instruction in higher education.

Critical inquiry, constructive dialogue within and across groups, and a civic culture that promotes citizenship and sustains liberal democracy are central to the mission set out in Stanford's Founding Grant.
**ePluribus Stanford** is a Provostial and Presidential Initiative designed to expand and amplify a shared commitment to these goals across the university. A centerpiece of the initiative is teaching the constitutive skills for critical inquiry, bridge building and leadership in intellectual and civic life. Drawing on expertise from across the University's multiple existing programs, and building innovative, new programming to supplement these efforts, the new initiative functions as a center of gravity at all levels of academic life (curricular, co-curricular, research, and residential). Core activities of the initiative include:
+ Designing and amplifying constructivedialogueskill-building programs and integrating them throughout the campus community through both existing and new channels.
+ Creating and sustaining a vibrant community of practice at Stanford University, and across institutions of higher education, to elevate expert knowledge, research, collaboration, and programming that advances critical inquiry, free and constructive discourse, and civic engagement.
+ Developing strategic partnerships and strategic communication to connect this foundational work to what it means to be a responsible citizen in the world, sustain liberal democratic norms, and effectively address collective action and policy challenges.
+ Designing and conducting assessments to support further innovation and maintain Stanford's role as a leader in this space.
**Position Summary**
ePluribus Stanford is seeking a Project Coordinator to provide vital support to the initiative's leadership team. This role will work closely with the Executive Director and Faculty Directors to manage and implement various programming and activities essential to the initiative's goals.
Ideal candidates will possess strong research and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to conduct independent research projects with minimal supervision while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as the Project Coordinator will interact with senior academic staff, executives, department personnel, and students.
In this role, you will engage in a range of administrative and research tasks, working collaboratively with various departments within the Law School, across the broader university, and with external partners to accomplish diverse programmatic and academic objectives.
The Project Coordinator will be based at the Law School and will report to the Executive Director, Faculty Co-Directors, and the Director of Administrative Support Services. This is a one-year fixed-term position, with the potential for renewal at the school's discretion. The role is a full-time equivalent (100% FTE) and is benefits-eligible.
**CORE DUTIES**
+ Act on behalf of the supervisor, department manager, or chair in regards to establishing priorities and identifying and resolving problems that are administrative in nature.
+ Assist the Executive Director and Faculty Directors in planning, scheduling, and tracking the overall workflow of core programmatic components, e.g. summer programming, signature fellowship, ongoing constructive dialogue trainings, bi-annual campus community grants program, annual Provostial award, and emerging programming.
+ Research and/or write background information for meetings.Participate in meetings on supervisor's behalf, inform after the fact.
+ Oversee and/or perform duties associated with scheduling, organizing, and operating complex conferences, seminars, and events, including arranging with vendors for services, overseeing the production and distribution of materials, administering logistics, and managing events within budget.
+ Assist with event planning and lead logistical coordination of events, including speaker series, guest and ePluribus team travel, workshops, trainings, and community of practice leadership meetings, as well as ad hoc events and convenings.
+ Compose and draft documents and correspondence for presentations, course handouts, grants, conferences, seminars, and reports; perform substantial research editing and fact checking. Create, maintain, modify, and/or ensure accuracy of content in various unit documents, displays, reports, brochures, social media, and/or websites.
+ Create complex reports and spreadsheets that may utilize specialized software and systems. Make recommendations based on reports.
+ Oversee and/or process a variety of complex financial transactions; produce, monitor, and reconcile budget statements; research, identify, and resolve discrepancies. May assist with capital or special equipment requests and/or vendor selection.
+ Analyze and review material and extract pertinent information for briefing purposes and reporting on the overall monitoring and assessment of the initiative.
+ Responsible for leading the administrative functions of the initiative.
