The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $5.26- 22.89.

Job Purpose: The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for conducting cycle counts and bin location audits, assisting in researching and reconciling inventory discrepancies and working with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager in any inventory related functions concerned with inventorying materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs physical counts of inventory items in order to maintain accurate inventory.
- Counts and reconciles randomly chosen or chosen part numbers and/or locations on a daily basis.
- Accurately inputs inventory control data to ensure inventory integrity.
- Completes necessary documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on-time.
- Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Use of motorized equipment including: Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

**Education:**

The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper stock rotation by performing the following duties. Also, they are responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
**Schedule: Overnight Shift, 10:00pm - 6:30am (Monday Evening through Saturday Morning)**
**Overtime on an as needed basis**
**Responsibilities:**
+ Prepares reports to replenish picking inventory
+ Coordinates transfers and sample/stability product requests
+ Researches discrepancies in inventory
+ Collects and prepares pull down requests for packers
+ Logs cube and weight for new items
+ Assists with the distribution of work
+ Review drivers log
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
**Education:**
+ High School Diploma or GED preferred
**Experience:**
+ Prior inventory experience within a manufacturing or warehousing environment required
**Skills:**
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English
+ Ability to write simple correspondence in English
+ Ability to effectively present information in English to other associate
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
+ Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra
+ Ability to solve practical problems
+ Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
+ Ability to utilize AS400 computer
+ Ability to utilize Microsoft excel and word
+ Ability to utilize Lotus Notes
