Job Details

GENERAL SUMMARY:
As a key point of contact for our customers, you will play an important role in ensuring their satisfaction. You will help set up and maintain product displays, restock merchandise, and support our team in maximizing profitability while keeping our store in tip-top shape.

DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Unload trucks and manage incoming shipments.
• Receive and unpack cartons, ensuring merchandise is properly stored or displayed.
• Build attractive merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience.
• Stock and organize merchandise on shelves while maintaining product rotation.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise they need.
• Perform cleaning duties such as bailling cardboard, taking out trash, and maintaining a clean store environment.
• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
• Operate the cash register, processing transactions accurately.
• Assist with inventory management, using handheld scanners when necessary.
• Help maintain a clean and inviting store environment.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety practices within a retail environment.
• Ability to interpret plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and mathematical skills.
• Experience with cash register operations is a plus.

WORK EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
