About the role
We're looking for a Strategic Engagement Director to join Crunchyroll's Strategy & Planning leadership team. We're seeking a strategic storyteller to articulate and cascade Crunchyroll's strategic roadmap and narrative for key stakeholders, as part of our mission to become a household name synonymous with anime worldwide.
You will develop an understanding of the anime ecosystem and synthesize emerging needs, opportunities, and risks as part of our long-term outlook on the anime marketplace and audience. You will partner with domain leaders across the company to interpret the likely impact to our strategic positioning and communicate our selected path(s) forward. You will support Crunchyroll's executive team in realigning and reiterating our strategic priorities and helping refine our long-term company roadmap, monitoring to ensure that we remain on a trajectory to achieve our long-term winning aspiration. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy & Planning you will distill Crunchyroll's strategic imperative, positioning, and roadmap into a cohesive narrative to reinforce across our stakeholder sets - and package into appropriate formats, ranging from executive presentations to workshops and more.
The impact you will have:
- Articulate long-term shifts in the anime ecosystem, including Crunchyroll's future positioning; distill marketplace and audience insights from external and internal sources as key input into Crunchyroll's strategic planning process
- Translate emerging needs, opportunities, and risks for Crunchyroll into strategic options; support in facilitating executive alignment on our strategic priorities and goals and cascade into a multi-year roadmap and accompanying narrative
- Develop strategy narrative to amplify Crunchyroll's strategic imperative, positioning, and direction across external and internal audiences with appropriate framing and clear, consistent messaging
- Draft presentations and messaging for executive updates on relevant topics for Crunchyroll's President and COO, ranging from internal and external meetings, executive workshops, and other speaking engagements
- Organize, and on occasion lead projects with a broad set of contributors, collecting input from relevant business and functional teams and ensuring agreement on goals, plans, and deliverables
About You

- You have a proven track record in executive communication and cross-functional stakeholder management, with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into clear presentations, messaging, and tools that help cascade business strategy across the organization

- You have experience in strategic planning, business operations, or program management, and a track record of outcomes and quantifiable results

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. **What You Bring to the Table**
+ 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or director-level role
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. Master's degree a plus)
+ Proven experience building and executing successful B2B marketing strategies preferably in service-based industries
+ Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing large-scale, integrated campaigns
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
+ Strong analytical skills with experience in marketing performance metrics and reporting
+ Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot, Sprout Social, etc)
+ Deep understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, brand management, and lead generation

As the Director of Strategic Analytics, you will help guide enterprise decision-making and new ideas. You'll partner with EA's Data and Analytics organization to lead initiatives across four critical areas:
- Enterprise Metric Design: You will design, implement, and socialize a unified set of strategic metrics and KPIs that empower executive leadership to track long-term objectives and company performance, driving their integration into executive decision-making and fostering alignment across game teams.
- Behavioral Analytics: You will lead data-driven analyses to uncover insights into player behaviors, motivations, and evolving preferences transforming these into strategic recommendations that guide EA's future direction and influence key decisions at the executive and game team levels.
- AI Integration: You will drive the strategic adoption of AI tools and workflows to elevate analytics productivity and embed best practices across the business.
- Data Strategy: You will act as a strategic advisor on enterprise-level data topics, including governance, AI applications, and analytics enablement, ensuring tight linkage with EAs corporate strategy.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, analytics, or data science, ideally within gaming, entertainment, or consumer technology.
- Strong collaboration, with a proven ability to present complex analyses to non-technical audiences and drive integration of insights into executive decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in influencing executive and cross-functional stakeholders in matrixed environments, especially to foster alignment on strategic priorities and KPIs.

- Comfort with predictive analytics and statistical modeling.
