Job Summary:
The Strategy Analyst is responsible for analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry shifts to provide strategic recommendations that drive business growth. This role will also support the commercial planning, price & profitability analytics and reporting functions with the Strategy & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, market research, and strategic planning.
Required Education/Experience:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in strategy, consulting, business analysis or a similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis & presentation tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint).
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication with an ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of market research methodologies and financial modeling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Conduct monthly sales forecasting process and support the annual commercial budget. This role will be responsible for the collection, consolidation, review and reporting relating to demand planning.
- Gather market intelligence with industry and competitive analysis. This includes maintaining a competitor database, the analysis of industry market data and benchmarking of competitors.
- Develop monthly reporting & analysis relating to customers, sales performance & market trends. The Strategy Analyst will assume the responsibility for the generation and distribution of these reports.
- Research evolving customer needs, growth markets and end-use applications.
- Actively participate in the annual strategic planning process. The Strategy Analyst will support this process with the collection, consolidation and analysis of commercial and operational strategy plans.
