**Job Description**
The AECOM West Region Dams and Reservoirs team is actively seeking a motivated, creative, highly talented Structural Engineer with risk analysis experience for employment in the Denver, CO office. The dams and reservoirs team within the West Water Business Line is responsible for providing engineering and design services in support of multidisciplinary projects, with a focus on water storage and hydropower dam projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Managing and providing technical support for structural analyses such as 2D and 3D FEA of concrete gravity dams, curved gravity dams, arch dams, and other hydraulic structures such as intake towers, spillways and spillway gates.
+ Preparing structural reports, drawings, and specifications for water storage and hydropower dams.
+ Preparing and presenting technical presentations to project team, clients, and technical review boards.
+ Performing dam safety inspections.
+ Participating in potential failure mode analyses and risk analyses for water storage and hydropower dams, including identifying and developing potential failure modes, serving as recorder, subject matter expert, and/or facilitator in risk analysis workshops, estimating risk, and report documentation.
+ Managing budgets, providing client updates, and performing general project management tasks.
+ Preparing structural engineering proposals.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

This candidate will be performing sheet metal repairs and airframe maintenance on Corporate Jets such as Cessna Citations, King Airs, Learjets and other business jet aircraft models.
Responsibilities

Perform sheet-metal layout, fabrication, and installation of parts on aircraft.

Perform structure repairs, replace aircraft skin, repair bird strikes, perform corrosion control & prevention, etc.

Coordinate with supervision and inspection to ensure compliance with FAA paperwork and quality specifications.

Use blueprints to cut and form plastics, and follow standard operating procedures with adhesives, sealants, and solvents.

Shape and form complex angles and configurations according to blueprint specifications using proper tooling.

Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveting equipment, shears, and hand tools.

Comply with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, using personal protective equipment as required.
