**Job Title:** Coordinator of Medical Student Education
**Department:** Pathology Administration
**Location:** Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania - 3400 Spruce St

**Summary:** The Coordinator Medical Education is responsible for the daily departmental, operational and financial management of the accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship training programs. The Coordinator Medical Education ensures that regulatory and accreditation standards are met, supports accreditation processes, including coordinating and actively participating in site visits, develops and maintains documentation and provides guidance to program leaders, faculty and staff. Additionally, this person creates evaluation reports needed to identify areas for improvements and compiles and submits accurate reports to accrediting bodies and other professional organizations, as required. The Coordinator Medical Education will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues developing projects, analyzing administrative workflow, maintaining databases, communicating with faculty and trainees regarding a range of issues, and managing internal and external residency program relations. The Coordinator Medical Education will provide defined administrative support to the Department residency programs in addition to performing other duties as assigned.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Independently manages day-to-day activities and initiatives of program, including clinical rotations, didactic activities, in conjunction with program polices and regulations.
+ Update and maintain residency program data in MedHub, GME Track, ABA, RTID, FREIDA, NRMP, and ERAS.
+ Provides reporting related to accreditation, education activities and program requirements.
+ Serves as primary administrative liaison with the GME office and other support offices to ensure continued program compliance.
+ Attends monthly GME coordinator conferences to remain current on policies and regulations.
+ Develops and implements new processes and assesses current protocols.
+ Maintains advanced knowledge of ACGME requirements and regulations as well as Penn Medicine GME and OMA policies.
+ Facilitates equipment ordering, trainee reimbursement process, professionally related education expenditures and division related invoices.
+ Coordinates functions relating to house staff on-boarding, licensing, orientation and trainings, rotations and compliance.
+ Establishes program specific policies and procedures for candidate recruitment facilitates residency interviews.
+ Coordinates Graduation and year end and alumni reporting for Residents and Fellows.
+ Maintains proficiency in MedHub trainee management suite, ensures data is complete, accurate and up to dategenerates various reports as requested.
+ Coordinates divisional continuing medical education series.
+ Coordinates divisional undergraduate medical education including URiM visiting students.
+ Assists in the fiscal oversight of the education program operational budget.
**Education or Equivalent Experience:**
+ Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
+ And 3+ years Graduate Medication Education or Executive Level Administration experience.
+ In lieu of completion of a Bachelor's degree, candidates with 7+ years of total relevant experience will be considered.

Position Summary:
The ESE Compliance Specialist is a member of the ESE Compliance team that provides support to school-based and Central Office staff via professional development, data reviews and reporting of data, compliance monitoring at the federal, state and local levels, and coaching. - Possess a heightened understanding of procedural safeguards, District procedures, due process and state complaint procedures as related to ESE compliance.

Student Health Services is seeking a Peer Education & Student Wellness Specialist. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position.
Student Health Services ( SHS ) at Oregon State University ( OSU ) provides leadership in supporting the health and well-being of the university community. SHS offers a comprehensive primary care clinic and a wide range of health promotion and prevention education services for OSU students. SHS is part of the Division of Student Affairs.
The Peer Education & Student Wellness Specialist plays a critical role in the delivery of health promotion and prevention education by overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based peer education programs. This position provides leadership in the strategic growth of impactful peer-led initiatives that foster healthy behaviors, support student development, and promote a culture of inclusion and belonging.
In addition to peer education oversight, this role leads the development and coordination of comprehensive efforts to prevent and reduce hazing among OSU students. 60% PEER EDUCATION PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION AND STUDENT LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
+ Develop, implement, evaluate, and supervise comprehensive evidence-based peer education programs for Health Equity & Wellness department
+ Oversee hiring, training, managing, supervising, and evaluating paid student staff/peer educators

+ Assist with assessment efforts and data collection, analytic strategies, and report writing
+ Understand and inform prevention and education practices through the lens of social justice, anti-racism, and anti-oppression, including the intersection of multiple identities and traditionally marginalized populations
+ Utilize national standards ( ACHA Standards of Practice, CAS Professional Standards) to support prevention and wellness initiatives
+ Collaborate with key partners on and off campus to develop a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to hazing prevention
10% SERVICE TO STUDENT HEALTH AND UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY
+ Assist the Health Equity & Wellness Director with strategic planning, budgeting, and advancing health promotion efforts across campus

What You Will Need

br> JOB SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Student Services Coordinator is to coordinate and supervise special education programs/services. The coordinator will provide district wide leadership for effective program development and be responsible for evaluating and monitoring programs and services to assure implementation consistent with state and federal mandates. The diverse nature of programs and services coordinated will require ongoing planning and coordination with building administrators and leadership staff within the SER YouthBuild Learning Academy.
About SER YOUTHBUILD Learning Academy: SYLA is a charter high school for youth ages 14-21. Its model combines classroom instruction by a certified teacher with enabling students to learn a trade while in school, providing learners with the knowledge, skills, and self-discipline necessary to become successful citizens in a global society. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Embrace the District’s mission, vision and collective commitments in order to make decisions that reflect the District’s philosophy that places the needs of children and their education first.
3. Assists in the recruitment, selection, and recommendation for hiring of special education teachers and staff.
4. Ensure that the programs and services coordinated are in compliance with specialized state and federal requirements.
5. Provide leadership to programs to assist staff and parents in evaluating student’s educational needs and in modifying or selecting programs and activities to meet these needs. < r>6. Coordinate staff training focused on curriculum, special education policies and procedures and student information portal.
7. Serve a liaison between the school, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive and appropriate services are provided to students with disabilities.
8. Stay current on laws, regulations and best practices related to special education services.
9. Serve at the district’s 504 liaison. < r>10. Provide assistance to building administrators and other leadership staff in the development of programs, evaluation of staff and refinement of procedures.
11. Experience with implementation of MiAccess and possesses an understanding of Special Education Indicators and secondary transition.
12. Input of data for special education services into the student information system
13. Commit to the goals and objectives of the program and to the mission of SER Metro-Detroit and SER YouthBuild Learning Academy.
14. Contribute to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

br> JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Eligibility for approval as a supervisor of special education by the State of Michigan under the State Special Education Code or eligible for temporary approval is required.
2. Master’s degree in an area of Special Education with at least 5 years of experience. < r>3. Demonstrated leadership experience in special education program development and coordination.
4. Previous administrative or leadership experience is preferred.
5. Experience in providing special education online learning services is preferred.
6. Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of low-income students, understanding cross-cultural values regarding education, and the ability to establish rapport with the target population.
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
8. Knowledge at the evaluation and analysis level of special education and related rules, regulations, and guidelines for IDEA, MARSE and 504.
9. Successful experience in planning and providing professional development on a variety of topics including but not limited to: IEP compliance, process and procedures, behavior and Multi-Tier Student Support (MTSS) and academic strategies. br>10. A high degree of initiative and the ability to work without constant supervision are required. Must have experience working in team settings, collaborate effectively with others, function well under pressure, manage multiple tasks concurrently, and always remain professional.
11. Must possess a valid driver’s license. < r>12. Must be eligible to pass a background check, including fingerprints.
