In a major town department this class is established as a structured internship program designed to prepare undergraduate and graduate college students for professional careers in administration, managerial and technical occupations by alternating periods of academic study and practical work experience in their chosen discipline.

• Receives practical training in application of theories and concepts relevant to work of employing department or program.
• Assists professional staff in performance of their duties.
• Completes independent assignments as necessary.
• May prepare reports.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Knowledge of principles, theories and concepts of appropriate discipline and ability to apply them in practical situations.

Qualifications
Current matriculation in an accredited Associate's, Bachelor's or advanced degree program determined by the Director of Human Resources or designee to be appropriate preparation for employment in the designated town department and/or functional area.

Permanent status cannot be attained while working in this classification. This class cannot be used to circumvent employment status or benefit eligibility. Incumbents may not work more than six (6) months, the equivalent of 1040 hours, per twelve (12) calendar months. Positions in this class will be used for training purposes. Students are required to submit to the town's Human Resources Department a letter of verification obtained from the Office of the Registrar attesting to the student's current educational status. Students working in this class may or may not be affiliated with a cooperative education program.

The HR Student Intern will support the USL HR team with day-to-day task and will be assigned to an intern project that will provide exposure to various areas of HR. This person will discover SLB's role in the industry and the lifestyle associated with the job.
· Support with planning and organizing HR related events and initiatives.
· Assist with updating records and maintaining files.
· Review and assist with answering HR inquiries.
· Collaborate with HR team members to understand HR policies and procedures.
· Present on project deliverables and provide recommendations to HR team members and other areas of the business.

Follow prescribed internship guidelines for each week as closely as possible. Note: While the opportunity for technically-trained professionals is large, these jobs are unique in their scope and responsibility and require a unique set of skills to succeed.

The Student Worker - Functional cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.
**Job Responsibilities**
Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations
Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others
Properly cleans and maintains housekeeping equipment
Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required
Ensures security of company assets

**Qualifications**
Previous custodial experience preferred
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.

Wat ga je doen?

Als stagiair word je volledig ingewijd en draai je mee met het team en alle bijbehorende verantwoordelijkheden. Je staat per chat, tickets en telefoon in contact met medewerkers, managers en HR-businesspartners uit alle business units en beantwoordt hun vragen. Je maakt deel uit van sub-teams en buigt je binnen die teams over specifieke onderwerpen en processen die je samen probeert te verbeteren. Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

* Beantwoorden van HR-vragen via telefoon, chat, mail en tickets
* Verwerken van alle in-, door- en uitstroom van medewerkers
* Tijdig verwerken van contractwijzigingen
* Toekennen van de vele Vattenfall-voordelen voor medewerkers
* Adviseren van medewerkers over alle HR-admin gerelateerde zaken

Wij bieden

Voltage, het netwerk van stagiairs binnen Vattenfall, biedt verschillende activiteiten om zowel het bedrijf, de energiemarkt als je medestagiairs te leren kennen.
