* Responds to patients in emergency or physically distressing situations.
* Documentation meets current standards and policies.
* Assumes accountability for appropriate utilization of resources.
* Performs other duties as assigned, within the Student Nurse Aide's scope of practice.
Qualifications
Education: High School/GED required. Candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Completed a minimum of one year of clinical experience within an academic nursing program, and completed the following educational courses and clinical experience: Fundamentals of Nursing and Pharmacology including medication administration.
* Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Associated Degree, Diploma or Baccalaureate Professional Nursing Program. Nursing Graduates pending passage of the NCLEX are also eligible.
License, Certification and/or Registration: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
