Summary of Position
The Placement Program Coordinator has a key role within Kintegra Health’s Human Resource department. The role is responsible for the organization’s placement and coordination of volunteers, interns, residents, and clinical student programs. This includes responsibility for the organization, administration, and development of the program. This role collaborates with providers, leaders and staff to support best practices, policies, and procedures in managing an extensive community volunteer and internship program.
The role has the responsibility of collaborating closely with recruiters to develop a pipeline of candidates that will be maintained and followed up on as time passes and candidates receive credentials that will add value to the organization.
Most importantly this role requires a growing leader that supports Kintegra Health’s Mission and Core Values as well as seeks like-minded candidates that have hope to join the organization in the future.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Attention to detail and elevated level of critical thinking.
- Ability to multitask, organize and self-prioritize daily tasks.
- Ability to perform duties independently and report findings to leadership.
- Experience in recruitment, networking, and clinical student placement programs a plus.
- Excellent customer service & communication with all levels of personnel.
- Must be able to work flexible hours between 8a – 5p and travel to events as scheduled.
- Must have reliable transportation and be available to commute for community involvement and program development opportunities.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent employment experience required. Data reporting experience required. Experience with Excel, Smart Sheets, and Microsoft Applications desirable.

K ey Responsibilities:
- Administrative: Manage administrative tasks related to placements and ensure SOPs, Task Lists, and Placement Data is organized and accessible to internal management teams as needed.
- Communication: Communicates accurately and timely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure placement success. Maintain detailed documentation of communications that can be shared with providers, management, and educational institutions as needed.
- Orientation and Training: Deliver orientation and training program for interns/externs, fellows, residents, and volunteers to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the organization's policies, procedures, expectations, and safety protocols. Participate in all new hire orientations and assist in coordinating as needed.
- Progress Monitoring and Support: Develop and provide regular reporting regarding the status and progress of interns/externs, fellows, residents, and volunteers as well as provide ongoing support and feedback to Kintegra Management as specified by manager or on an as-needed basis.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with networking associations, partner organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to foster collaborations, promote the program, and identify opportunities for joint initiatives.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Collaborate with various departments to ensure that the internship/externship, fellowship, residency, and volunteer programs are aligned with the organization's overall goals and priorities.
- Dashboard & Database Maintenance: Develop, Organize, and Maintain reporting and placement records in the Kintegra Placement Dashboard. Provide reports as asked to the Vice President of Human Resources and Senior Management.
- Regulatory Compliance : Compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Laws in addition to Kintegra Health’s Policies, Guidelines and Best Practices.

**DUTIES / ACTIVITIES:**
Dietetic Intern: An individual who currently is enrolled in a Dietetic Internship or a university-based Coordinated Program in Dietetics accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
The dietetic student/intern may under direct guidance of the Renal Dietitian:
+ Review of Renal Nutrition Basics and other applicable components of the Orientation and Training requirements of staff dietitians
+ Review the typical workflow for the Renal Dietitian, and/or Role of the RD
+ Conduct a nutrition interview with a patient
+ Calculate a diet prescription recommendation
+ Provide nutrition counseling to patient/designated caregiver on the prescribed renal diet
+ Collect data for initial, 90 day, semi-annual (if applicable by State), and annual Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Assessments
+ Assist the registered dietitian in development and implementation of nutrition plan of care
+ Review monthly nutrition data with patients and/or designated caregivers
+ Practice writing monthly nutrition progress notes
+ Provide input to the development and implementation of nutrition plan of care
