Join a best-in-class newsroom covering one of the most dynamic cities in the country. The Subscriber Engagement Editor will own strategy and execution around growing our digital subscriber base. They will work hand-in-hand with editors and reporters on content and projects that serve our most loyal, paying audience. We are looking for a thinker and doer.

What will you do?
  • Own the strategy and daily execution of the channels that matter most to subscribers: Newsletters, homepage and app.
  • Analyze subscriber behavior and trends, and make content recommendations to editors that will move the needle.
  • Produce up to 3 daily newsletters with the goal of growing each list and improving open rates.
  • Coordinate planning, building and promotion of high-converting journalism, such as interactive projects, utility pieces, maps, etc.
  • Act as liaison between our newsroom and the centralized data visuals team on projects for our Austin audience.
What will it take to be successful?
  • At least four years of professional journalism experience.
  • An audience and editing background, likely with a focus on newsletters.
  • Strong journalistic writing and skills, including story structure and AP style. Ability to produce content that is clean, accurate and publication ready.
  • Strong understanding of digital publishing tools, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, MediaOS, or similar), and multimedia integration.
  • Highly organized and strong time management - able to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • Solid grasp of audience trend data and ability to use that information to drive content decisions.
  • Strong collaborator who can impact change across various teams.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager on the Direct-to-Consumer finance team to be an integral member of the team that is analyzing and evaluating subscriber revenue, developing internal analytics and measurement tools, assessing growth initiatives and their impact on subscriber revenue both domestically and internationally. **Position Summary:**
The Subscriber Programming Subject Matter Expert (SME) will possess specialized expertise in the configuration, validation, and deployment of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) subscriber code plugs. **Basic Qualifications:**

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $145,500 to $95,000 per year. Santa Monica, CA and Glendale, CA is 138,900 to 186,200 per year, San Francisco, CA is 152,100 to 203,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

We're hiring a Data Scientist to help design, build and deploy machine learning solutions that solve key business challenges. **Responsibilities**

Requirements

  • This is an ON-SITE position - Possibility of remote work after a minimum of 6 months consistently meeting performance metrics and meeting work from home requirements.

  • Adhere to assigned schedule to assist with outbound calls, Inbound calls, incoming chats, emails, or a combination of skills.
  • Ensure that department goals and expectations are met on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Be proactive and discuss with management strategies to improve job performance.
  • Read the training materials and utilize resources provided by department and company.
  • Work overtime based on business and department needs.
