Job Summary:
- New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
- Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
- Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
- Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
- Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
- Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
- Performs direct one-on-one patient conseling through individual or group counseling.
- Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
- Reports patient grievances as required.
- Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
- Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
- Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
- Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
- Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
- Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
- Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
- Participates in all staff meetings
- Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
- Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Experience in substance abuse field is not required, but preferred
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred
- Skill and Ability:
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable
- Basic mathematics skills

Responsibilities:The Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for performing patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. The primary duties include group therapy by providing comprehensives group therapy, creating evidence based group curriculum, developing group curriculum, participating in treatment plans to ensure service delivery. EDUCATION:

Compassionate Substance Use Counselor Needed!
Position Overview:
Substance use counselor will be in charge of assisting patients through medically assisting programs and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. Counselor conducts group sessions and individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. Additionally, the counselor will evaluate patients’ progress during therapy. Substance abuse counselors may also need to collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists for patients’ therapy and treatment for the best overall outcome.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination
- Facilitates establishes and reviews with each patient the initial treatment plan
- Completes Bio-psychosocial assessment.
- Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment
- Involve families and significant others in patient’s recovery process whenever possible
- Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints
- Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans
- Other related duties as determined by the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 1 year of individual counseling experience
- Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science with a minimum of 1 year of individual counseling experience
- Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma with a current certification and 1 year of supervision. Certifications include CAC (Certified Addiction Counselor), CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor), or CADC II
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals a plus.
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
Salary Range:
Salary ranges from $24.00 to $26.08 an hour.
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training.

Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Needed!
Position Overview:
Substance abuse counselor will be in charge with assisting patients through medically assisting programs and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. Counselor conducts group sessions and individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. Additionally, counselor will evaluate patients’ progress during therapy. Substance abuse counselors may also need to collaborate with doctors, nurses and therapists for patients’ therapy and treatment for best overall outcome.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination
- Involve families and significant others in patient’s recovery process whenever possible
- Facilitates, establishes and reviews with each patient the initial treatment plan
- Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints
- Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans
- Other related duties as determined by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Certification or license is required ADT, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, LCPC, LCSW, LGADC or LCADC from the State of Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
Salary Range:
Salary ranges from $44,000 – 80,000 annualized. (This position is non-exempt, overtime eligible with prior approval)
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, licensure, and training.

Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary:
- New Season operates a number of nationally recognized and accredited methadone treatment centers dedicated to helping individuals with prescription drug abuse and/or opiate addiction regain control of their lives.

Essential Functions:
- Works with patients to complete all intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
- Documents patient progress through counseling and interaction through groups.
- Completes patient psychosocial and an individualized treatment plan within the required time frame.
- Identifies any clinical/case management needs and works to address those needs.
- Performs individual, group, and family counseling as required.
- Performs direct one-on-one patient conseling through individual or group counseling.
- Reports patient abuse, neglect and exploitation as required.
- Reports patient grievances as required.
- Educates patient in all aspects of treatment, corresponding health issues and steps to recovery.
- Obtains Urine Drug Screens and initial patient photo identification.
- Assists in monitoring all patient activities on center premises.
- Actively participates in community relations activities as directed and authorized.
- Ensures the reading and understanding of the Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Ensures compliance with 42 CFR Part 2 (Federal Confidentiality Regulations) and 45 CFR, Parts 160 & 164 (HIPAA)
- Is responsible for obtaining or maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.
- Actively participates in preparation for surveys and inspections conducted by CARF, the State, DEA, Board of Pharmacy and any other agency site visits as dictated by the state laws or regulations.
- Participates in all staff meetings
- Ensures compliance with local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.
- Always acts in the best interests of the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary data and rights of the company.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by clinic, region or corporate leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Licensure/Certification:
- Experience in substance abuse field is not required, but preferred
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 500 hours of experience in substance abuse is preferred
- Skill and Ability:
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable and reliable
- Basic mathematics skills
