GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assuring all procedures are followed in achieving the highest level or productivity in the most cost efficient manner possible while still maintaining the specification of the customer. Make sure all reporting requirements are met for area of supervision. Must be willing to work 2nd shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trains and provides an environment for employees to achieve their maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective positions.
Plans and schedules manpower, materials, product and machines to most effectively and efficiently utilize departmental policies and procedures fairly and equitably to maintain standards established for safety, quality and overall company personnel satisfaction.
Manages employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.
Promotes department and company goodwill through pro-active employee communication and employee involvement.
Investigates, in cooperation with other departments, areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control and equipment maintenance and provides suggestions.
Promotes safety throughout area where crew is working.
BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1 or more years of previous Supervisory experience.
Poultry or food industry experience a plus.
Previous leadership skills with 20 or more employees.
Effective communication both orally and in writing.
Capable of independent decision making.
Must have basic computer knowledge.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Must be able to work assigned hours/days - including occasional weekends - as required.

What You Will Be Doing:The PDI and Finished Goods Supervisor primary duties are the efficient final assembly, electrical work and quality/shipping readiness is completed. Supervision of both on-site YES, temporary and contract team members complete the work and material are available. The position works closely with production, project management and quality in collaboration to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenue/profit for YES.
Primary Responsibilities:- Safety of all team members at YES and off-site facilities to accomplish required work.
- Quality of outgoing product and feedback to all departments on any non-conforming product.
- Team member supervision and development for both direct and in-direct team members.
- Key member the of the Material Review board along with quality, project management and production to determine the disposition of product.
- Minor Repairs and Adjustments:
- Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs as needed.
- Adjust and align parts and systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Documentation
- Complete all necessary inspection checklists and documentation.
- Record any issues found and the corrective actions taken,.
- Ensure accurate reporting of vehicle condition and readiness.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all work performed meets the manufacturer's standards.
- Conduct final quality checks after vehicle delivery.
- Communicate any recurring issues or quality concerns to the management team.
- Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.

The ability to provide direction and instruction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
