Job Description
As the commercial vehicle industry undertakes its most significant transformation in a century, International is on a mission to redefine transportation.
We are seeking a Supplier Collaboration Supply Chain Professional to join our team.
This position will enable us to conduct hands-on, forward-looking assessments at our suppliers' sites-identifying capacity risks, operational bottlenecks, and systemic weaknesses before they impact production. By embedding this capability now, we position ourselves to avoid costly disruptions during the market upswing and reinforce our reputation for operational reliability. With the right candidate, this role will serve as a strategic lever to reduce supplier-related risk and improve continuity across our global supply chain network. This fits within your organizations overall "How" strategy to mitigate future uptick in demand and volume at our production sites.
This position will require travel up to 80% to our Springfield OH, Escobar, Huntsville, San Antonio and Lisle locations.
Lisle IL is highly desired but will consider those located in the following areas:

Responsibilities
Supplier Assessments:
Conduct thorough, on-site evaluations of supplier capabilities to meet International Motors' part requirements. Focus areas include:
+ Capacity analysis and constraint identification
+ Manpower utilization and labor planning
+ Process mapping and throughput measurement (including OEE and downtime tracking)
+ Tooling health and maintenance practices (preventive and reactive)
+ Material planning from Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers
+ Quality management systems and documentation (e.g., ISO/TS standards)
+ Inventory management (raw/finished goods, packaging, FIFO practices)
+ Production environment standards (5S, visual management, standardized work)
+ Shipping redundancy and packaging compliance
Performance Monitoring & Risk Management:
+ Leverage ERP and Control Tower data to identify at-risk suppliers based on reactive indicators (e.g., line stops, expedites, truck pulls) and proactive signals (e.g., backlog accumulation, forecast-to-capacity gaps)
+ Track and report supplier KPIs regularly (delivery performance, fill rate, lead time adherence, quality metrics)
Project Management & Problem Solving:
+ Develop structured project plans (Gantt charts) for supplier improvement roadmaps
+ Facilitate cross-functional corrective action plans involving production, procurement, supplier quality, transportation, engineering, and finance
+ Lead root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D) for systemic issues impacting part availability
+ Conduct regular leadership reviews to communicate risk status, escalate issues, and drive accountability
Collaboration & Coaching:
+ Act as a supplier coach and partner to embed operational best practices
+ Educate internal teams and suppliers on performance gaps, process optimization, and collaborative problem-solving
+ Support supplier onboarding, development plans, and continuity readiness
Minimum Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree
+ At least 5 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
+ 1 year lead experience

+ Master's degree
+ At least 3 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience
+ 1 year lead experience

+ At least 8 years of supply chain, engineering or manufacturing experience

Additional Requirements

Desired Skills
Experience:
+ 5+ years in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, or supplier development roles; automotive industry preferred
+ Familiarity with Tiered supply chains, EDI schedules, and aftermarket/service demand fulfillment
Technical Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of production control processes, lean manufacturing, and logistics operations
+ Experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, BaaN, Oracle, etc.)
+ Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project (PowerBI is a plus)
+ Data analysis skills to interpret supplier KPIs and convert into actionable insights
Soft Skills:

Key job responsibilities
The Kuiper team is looking for a Supplier Manufacturing Engineer to support business and engineering stakeholders in developing, implementing and monitoring manufacturing processes/controls within our supply base. Enhance Supplier Agility

Coordinate DFM Initiatives
- Lead and execute Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives to enable suppliers to meet manufacturing rate and cost targets, ensuring manufacturability is considered early and throughout the design process.
Develop and Validate Supplier Capabilities
- Assist suppliers in developing the capability to produce parts that meet design, print, and manufacturing requirements. Conduct first article validations to ensure compliance with Kuiper and industry workmanship standards and specifications.
Implement New Materials and Processes
- Collaborate with suppliers to industrialize new materials and processes, including necessary capital improvements and part qualification (PPAP), ensuring readiness for large-scale production and meeting project timelines.
Support NPI and Mitigate Risks
- Provide leadership for New Product Introduction (NPI) at suppliers, acting as the technical point of contact to solve emergent challenges and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth and timely product launches.
Facilitate Continuous Improvement and Corrective Actions

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

**What You'll Be Doing**
+ As a Supplier Program Manager for immixGroup, you will build influential relationships with key decision makers at assigned suppliers in order to grow sales and market share in respective technologies through various programs and marketing communications activities. You will act as liaison between field selling groups and Corporate to resolve questions/ issues regarding products and/or suppliers, including supply chain management, website development, promotional materials. In this position you will be expected to be the product expert within these technologies and to provide guidance to the field on large opportunities.
+ Develop influential supplier relationships with key decision makers resulting in ImmixGroup being able to gain competitive advantage on sales opportunities and be a supplier advocate within Immix.
+ Work as a resource for the ESG sales team to enable navigation throughout, to assist in selling suppliers/technologies to customers and to position Immix appropriately with suppliers at both the corporate and local levels.
+ Identify specific market segments and customers to market specific suppliers and technologies to the Arrow sales team with the goal being to grow NSB and customer base.
