Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$101,600.00 - $152,400.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Our client, a prominent leader in the FMCG industry, is seeking a talented and analytical Supply Chain Optimization Specialist for a fully remote position. In this role, you will be pivotal in enhancing the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and resilience of our global supply chain operations. You will leverage data analytics, modeling, and simulation tools to identify bottlenecks, optimize inventory levels, improve logistics, and streamline procurement processes. This is a remote-first opportunity where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to implement innovative supply chain strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products to consumers efficiently and reliably.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze current supply chain operations to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service levels.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for inventory management, demand forecasting, and network optimization.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and modeling techniques to optimize logistics and transportation routes.
  • Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and distribution teams to ensure seamless end-to-end supply chain execution.
  • Design and implement performance metrics and KPIs to track supply chain effectiveness.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and other supply chain partners.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
  • Develop and deliver reports and presentations on supply chain performance to senior management.
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on supply chain innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain management or a related analytical role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong proficiency in supply chain modeling and optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft, Anylogic) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS/TMS.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with global supply chain operations and customs regulations.
