This is a hybrid position, with in-office presence required 4 days a week at our office in Chicago, IL.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Analyze historic and forecasted data to generate summaries, baselines, and cost improvement opportunities
+ Develop moderately complex solutions and recommendations for customer issues or opportunities using technical expertise and judgment
+ Self-guided and can work independently to implement customer solutions including documenting customer procedures, training, and resolving operational issues
+ Manage projects including defining scope, developing project plan, tracking activities, reporting on progress, and milestones and measuring results
+ Align and communicate with customer or internal stakeholders to gather information, voice of customer, scope, opportunities, deliverables, and project milestones
+ Generate appropriate communications for delivering project updates and summaries to internal and external audiences
+ Assist in the development and continuous improvement of department strategies for team skill and capability development or enhancement
+ May lead small project teams within department or function
+ Receive coaching, guidance, and feedback from others to support personal and technical skill development
+ Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country-specific requirements
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Required:
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
+ Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and summarize data, including graphs, charts, formulas, functions, macros, VBA, solvers and regression analysis
+ Experience using data visualization and analytical tools
+ Ability to travel a minimum of 10% (domestically and internationally)
Preferred:
+ Able to identify trends, patterns and outliers in supply chain data and form insights, recommendations, and ability to coach others in seeing and telling the story
+ Strong delegation, organization, and task management skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects/business goals simultaneously
+ Understanding of end-to-end supply chain functions and relationships

**Compensation Range**

The Role:As a Supplier Manufacturing Readiness Engineer, you will own our Manufacturing Readiness Review (MRR) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) processes for all Atlas-platform jobs. You will act as the primary technical liaison between Hadrian and a network of CNC machining and related commodity suppliers, ensuring parts launch on time and at cost. Your work directly reduces quality and delivery risk for mission-critical aerospace and defense programs.
What You’ll Do:Serve as the technical interface between Hadrian and external suppliers; provide real-time support on machining, sheet-metal, and similar processes.
Own and continuously improve the MRR workflow, scaling it from critical orders to 100 % of Atlas orders.
Lead supplier-side DFM reviews and offer actionable feedback to Engineering and customers during sales calls.
Conduct structured root-cause analysis and corrective-action planning to resolve quality or delivery issues.
Analyze supplier manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, and in-process inspection; recommend and track improvements.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-performing suppliers in partnership with Sourcing and Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE).
Use Six Sigma and other data-driven tools to monitor trends and drive part-performance improvements.
Travel to supplier sites for hands-on issue resolution and process validation (up to 40 %).
Maintain compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality-system requirements; support audits and recovery plans.
Document all activities in Hadrian DFM, Atlas, Airtable, and related systems in a timely manner.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, or industrialization for complex machined and/or sheet-metal parts.
Proven ownership of MRR, PPAP, FAI, or comparable production-readiness processes.
Demonstrated expertise in root-cause analysis, corrective-action planning, and hands-on supplier support.
Working knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality-management systems.
Proficiency with DFM tools, manufacturing data analysis, and collaboration software (e.g., Hadrian DFM, Atlas, Airtable, spreadsheets).
Ability to travel domestically up to 40 % of the time and to perform shop-floor activities while wearing required PPE.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and customers.
Experience supporting aerospace or defense production programs.
Six Sigma Green- or Black-Belt certification.
Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and advanced metrology.
Prior involvement in supplier onboarding and capability assessments.
Experience deploying manufacturing-readiness or DFM processes in a SaaS or cloud-based environment.

L-3Harris Technologies, is currently seeking a PCB Supply Chain Engineer. The PCB Engineer will be responsible for the life-cycle support of the all PCB component commodities; resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits and connectors through Procurement from conceptual development through product phase-out. This includes assisting buyers in proposal support, requirements analysis and management, task planning, technical documentation (including generation of Statements of Work and specifications), design oversight participation, design synthesis in a multi-functional engineering environment, build and test support, subcontract control, risk management input, and system deployment and in-house technical support during the operational life-cycle of the system.
Essential Functions:
+ Provides PCB Engineering support to both internal engineering / program teams and suppliers where necessary. Ensures technical performance, quality, and adherence to schedule.
+ Assists in management of releasing technical specifications, interface control documents, test plans and procedures, evaluation of configuration and processing solutions and tests conformance to specifications to eliminate conflicting requirements and ensure a complete flow down of customer requirements
+ Knowledgeable in 2D and 3D modeling, NX, AutoCad, Solid Edge, Lattice3D or equivalent.
+ Provide support to Source Selection Evaluation Teams in evaluating the acceptability and completeness of supplier technical proposals.

+ Provide expert guidance to suppliers, when needed, to resolve supplier corrective actions requests (SCARs)

+ Working knowledge of subcontract strategies, complex terms and conditions, FAR/DFAR and project management.
