Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their remote operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials throughout the supply chain. You will manage and optimize transportation, warehousing, and inventory processes, working closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. As a fully remote position, you will leverage technology and effective communication to coordinate complex logistical operations seamlessly. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments, including freight, customs, and documentation.
  • Optimize transportation routes and modes to minimize costs and delivery times.
  • Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and warehouse providers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage warehouse operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process shipping orders, invoices, and claims.
  • Track shipments in real-time and proactively address any delays or issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency gains.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and transportation partners.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize logistics software and systems for planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or transportation coordination.
  • Proven experience in managing freight, warehousing, and inventory.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS) and ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote setup.
