**What you'll do**
+ Review and approve material purchase orders
+ Work with vendors to resolve invoice and order discrepancies
+ Assist with monthly inventory and reporting
+ Participate in the hiring and training of field warehouse technicians
+ Assist with the initial warehouse setup when new locations open
+ Build relationships with the operations teams and assist with their material needs
+ Ensure compliance with established procedures
+ Plans, develops, and implements warehouse safety and security programs and activities
+ Manages the activities of inventory personnel and yard workers on an ongoing basis
+ Identifies, defines and monitors performance-related KPI metrics and holds department personnel accountable to achieving departmental standards

**What you'll need**
+ To be 18 years of age or older
+ Authorization to work in the United States for this company
+ 3-5 years progressive warehouse experience
+ Strong communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
+ Self motivated, ability to multitask and prioritize work load
+ Ability to meet established deadlines
+ Business Management or Degree preferred. Previous management experience. Minimum 5 years or a combination of both
+ Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
+ Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
+ Ability to apply project management concepts, and methodologies
+ Proven leadership in a cross functional team environment
+ General understanding of Business Financial and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

**What you'll do**
+ All phases of underground construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment

**What you'll need**

**What you'll do**
+ Maintain responsibility for the material purchasing process including issuing POs, determining appropriate timing of material orders (ensuring best price) and purchase tracking (ensuring in-time delivery)

+ Receive new material shipments and verify order content and completeness

+ Manage inventory for specific jobs by staging materials from each job's pick list
+ Communicate inventory needs to the Supply Chain Manager
+ Aid in holding employees and subcontractors accountable to appropriate documentation of inventory as it is taken and returned to designated yards/warehouses
+ Maintain location(s) inventory list by allocating inventory to individual jobs and tracking inventory changes using a scanner, computer and/or inventory system software
+ Coordinate and/or conduct physical inventory reconciliations and follow-up on inventory discrepancies
+ Act as the primary lead at the site for all customer material requests and check outs
+ Deliver material to other locations or job sites as needed
+ Participate in and adheres to all Company Safety requirements
+ Other duties as assigned
**What you'll need**
+ Minimum of 6 months prior related inventory maintenance experience
+ Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, correspondence and memos
+ Effective and respectful written and verbal communication
+ Problem solver and logical thinker
+ Ability to control essential job functions in a fast paced environment that interacts with both internal and external work crews and customers
+ Team oriented, keeping the organizational needs at the forefront of mind
