Robert Half is seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to join our client's team based in the Greater Philadelphia area. The chosen Supply Chain Supervisor candidate will be instrumental in managing and controlling all aspects of our manufacturing supply chain, from purchasing and logistics to warehousing. This Supply Chain Supervisor role will involve maintaining systems for recording and controlling stock levels, preparing regular plans for material ordering, and managing the integrity of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
+ Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
+ Develop a regular plan for ordering materials and discuss these plans with senior management
+ Investigate the price and availability of materials in line with scheduled demand
+ Maintain an approved list of suppliers and place timely orders with these vendors
+ Verify order confirmations from vendors to ensure all conditions match those on the purchase orders
+ Oversee the delivery schedule of materials according to orders confirmed by vendors
+ Ensure all established prices, quality, and delivery commitments are met
+ Verify receipt documents and liaise with the accounts department to ensure compliance with company procedures
+ Manage the integrity and order of the raw material, packaging, and finished goods stocks within the warehouse
+ Oversee the system and procedures of warehouse operations to ensure smooth handling and movement of materials
+ Manage inbound and outbound freight services to maintain raw material and packaging supplies and customer service
Requirements
The ideal Supply Chain Supervisor will have a Bachelor's degree with preferred study in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration.

- Collects data to determine safety, effectiveness, retention, and sustainability of training for the continuous improvement of the program.
- Serves as a point of contact and collaborator for Field Market Trainers.
- Ensures both new and existing Associates are safely following preferred plays while meeting productivity goals.
- Partners with Vice President Operations, Directors, HR, Field Market Trainers, Supervisors and Managers to regularly check progress and performance of new selectors to uncover coaching opportunities and identify steps to improve performance.
- Reports out performance and retention data to Vice President Operations & HR while providing training recommendations and strategies based on trends.
- May consult in the interview, hire, performance review, discipline, and termination process in collaboration with the Vice President of Operation s& HR to ensure all training needs are aligned, relevant, and delivered as expected (as needed).
- Regularly inspects facility for safety hazards and either resolves them or reports them to the safety manager as appropriate. Jointly accountable (with warehouse leadership) for maintaining the physical condition of the warehouse and its equipment.

**SUPERVISION:**
- All New Hires (Selectors & Drivers) during their onboarding (Day 1 - Day 90), varies by week estimate 4-5 starts (Selectors) per week if needed
- Selector Trainers (in Workday they're coded as Night Selectors, these associates are dedicated to the onboarding/training of new hires), locations could have 0-4 dedicated to this role

- PIT experience preferred, not required

Job Description
· Responsible for all customer-level communications regarding product needs, or PANDAC program-related information.
· Reports to assigned account(s) daily or at agreed to cadence, following a schedule mutually agreed upon with customer stakeholder(s) / sponsor.
· Manages Supply Chain Services Specialists at several accounts in ordering, put away and distribution of any applicable supplies to account operating rooms and other hospital locations.

· Monitors physician and department preferences for inventory, coordinating changes as needed for proactive case support.
· Manages movement of applicable supplies between storage locations and point of use locations.
· Advises O&M customer service on procedure frequency to determine PAR levels or removal of product due to changes in OR procedures or physician preference.
· Advises the account on PAR levels of applicable items and space or conveyance needed to stock at the facility.
· Manages new products, product changes, substitutions, and backorders with suppliers to ensure products within purview are available for procedures.
· Provides analysis and reporting to increase inventory management efficiency and identify savings opportunities.
· Provides coverage for positions when teammates are out.
· Performs additional duties as directed
Qualifying Experience
· Associate's degree, required. Bachelor's degree, preferred.
· Minimum, two (2) years of work experience in healthcare surgical services and/or logistics materials management and/or project management, required.
· Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
· Previous experience in LEAN or project/organizational management methodology, preferred. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required.

+ Responsible for all supply chain management and logistics activity within assigned service line
+ May assist with supply budget management/variance investigation and reporting
+ Responsible for staff management
+ Supervises staff conducting inventory counts, adjustments, reorder and all physical and computer assisted inventory transactions necessary for replenishment and maintenance throughout the hospitals or centralized stores
+ Maintains inventory control by ensuring accurate and timely input into applicable software
+ Responsible for short and long term planning, inventory level effectiveness/assurance, new product evaluation and selection with service line coordinators
+ Orients and trains staff on the use of applicable software and web sites used for ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment
+ Ensures job skills are demonstrated and performed accurately and in accordance with Emory Healthcare Policies, as well as departmental policies and guidelines

+ For positions in the OR, candidates may have 4 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist/Inventory or Supply Chain experience in hospital or Physician office
