The Senior Support Planning Manager (SPM) plays a critical role in ensuring that Global Technical Support (GTS) is fully prepared for all Bentley Infrastructure Cloud (BIC) releases. Acting as the operational counterpart to Global Technical Leads (GTLs), this role focuses on logistics, coordination, and enablement to drive support readiness across the organisation.
Operating within a dynamic and agile environment, the SPM leads end-to-end planning for support readiness, facilitates knowledge transfer from Development, and ensures Support Engineers are equipped with the tools, training, and insights needed to support new releases effectively. The SPM is instrumental in bridging operational execution with strategic technical enablement, ensuring that support teams are aligned, informed, and empowered to deliver exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of BIC applications.
Responsibilities:

Implements planned production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. This role performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phase and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
Essential Functions:
+ Coordinates with Manufacturing Engineering and Material Management to develop internal master schedule for assigned programs.
+ Implements planned production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements.
+ Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules.
+ Collects and analyzes data and prepares reports including recommendations to meet internal and external demands for materials and finished goods
+ Advises operations and program management of the status of work in progress & risks to meeting internal master schedule.
+ Collaborates and coordinates with manufacturing assemblers/technicians, material management, product line managers and quality are critical to the role.
+ Releases work orders to production floor based on internal master schedule, part availability and current capacity.
+ Monitors manufacturing conformance to master schedule using ERP systems and reports.
+ Expedites needed make items based on master schedule.
+ Reviews operational measures including but not limited to efficiency, floor inventory accuracy, release on time and on time delivery, reports variances to management and assists in developing action plans to address.
+ Manages and controls manufacturing floor stock for assigned programs.
+ Advises management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
+ Coordinates scheduling of shared equipment and personnel with respective process owners.
+ Works under limited supervision.
Qualifications:
+ Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Must possess strong results and goal/deadline-oriented work ethic, high attention to detail and be flexible.
+ Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to develop and bring to completion multiple assignments concurrently.
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills, highly proficient in Excel (e.g., Excel formulas, V-lookups, pivot tables) and has skill in preparing tables, graphs, and charts.
+ Experience in a production manufacturing environment either as a production planner, master scheduler, demand planner, and/or supply planner
+ Experience using an ERP system with MRP & MPS capabilities.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management peers and subordinates.
+ APICS Certification is a plus.
