Job Description
The Surveillance Investigator conducts investigations into casino matters involving gaming slot machines, table games, cash operations and others directed by management. Follows up on Surveillance and Compliance reports requiring further detail or investigation. Will be responsible for creating investigation reports as well as a detailed monthly summary report. Works closely with the casino as well as the entire STGC staff to ensure documentation is submitted in a timely manner. Will compile and categorize analytical data by each casino department. Will make proper course of action recommendations to the Surveillance Director to ensure Tribal assets are protected.
Understands and practices regulations that exist to govern Indian gaming. Performs all duties in accordance with the Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out the duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Surveillance Director. (The following is used as a partial description and is not restrictive as to duties required.)
* Engages in continuous forensic reviews (e.g. table rating analysis, point of sale analysis), by applying data analytics to identify unusual and fraudulent activity;
* Evaluates sensitive and private information with utmost confidentiality and propriety;
* Works collaboratively or independently on special assignments and prepares accurate reports to clearly describe the scope of work performed;
* Investigations must be highly organized and proficient in the use and implementation of computer systems and software platforms;
* Remain up to date with all the latest cheats and scams within the gaming industry;
* Ensures that all casino employees adhere to their respected departments operating procedures;
* Will learn and follow the Surveillance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) put forth by the department;
* Ability to gather and analyze financial information;
* Ability to consolidate, summarize, and communicate information gathered during the course of an investigation;
* At the direction of the Surveillance Director, must assist in overseeing of tribal gaming related regulations such as TICS/SICS and MICS requirements;
* Ensures that all reports along with any related information are documented and organized in a secure database;
* Assist with all gaming related investigations and will conduct interviews when deemed necessary by management;
* Will keep a professional working environment and an open communication with all fellow employees;
* Must be physically present and on time to work as scheduled in accordance with business demands and company policy.
Minimum Requirements
* Ability to work anytime including day, nights, weekends, and holidays;
* Must be at least 21 years of age;
* Successfully complete/ pass pre-employment drug screening and Background Clearance;
* Meet and maintain licensing standards/guidelines to qualify for a key gaming license; and
* Possession of a current California Drivers' License or California Identification.
Education/Experience
Preferable: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or a related field from an accredited college; management experience and five (5) years of regulatory, auditing, or investigating experience.
In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree: A.S. or A.A from an accredited college, three (3) years of investigative experience and four (4) years of law enforcement, regulatory, auditing or investigating experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In lieu of an A.S. or A.A Degree: High School diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution, four (4) years of management experience and six (6) years of law enforcement, regulatory, auditing or investigating experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional certifications in Surveillance and Surveillance Systems, is a plus. Working knowledge of the investigative process including interviews, observations, documentation review, and reporting is beneficial.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to speak and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. Job Description
Allied Universal is hiring a Surveillance Investigator. The Surveillance Investigator will perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of a Claimant to confirm current activities and capabilities to assist with the administration of an Insurance claim.
* No office to go to!
* Must possess a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience
* Company credit card to cover fuel and travel expenses
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across a range of coverage types, including workers' compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability
* Utilize various surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly
* Document and report observations, activities, and any relevant information in a clear and concise manner
* Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed to gather information and coordinate efforts
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in conducting surveillance operations
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Post offer, must be able to successfully complete the Allied Universal Investigations' training/orientation course
* Prior educational or professional exposure to witness interviews or video monitoring
* Prior educational or professional incident reporting and/or investigations experience
* Flexibility to work varied and irregular hours/days including weekends and holidays
* Ability to type reports in Microsoft Word format with minimal grammatical and punctuation errors
* Proficient in utilizing laptop computers, video cameras and cell phones
* Capable of maintaining focus and multitasking effectively in a dynamic environment
* Demonstrated ability to manage stressful situations with composure and professionalism
