You will begin as an Instrument Person, with potential to advance to a Rod Person. Responsibilities
+ Coordinate daily with field coordinators, project managers, and office staff.

+ Lead and supervise field survey crews on various types of surveys including boundary, topographic, construction, and control surveys
+ Perform and verify survey computations such as traverse closures, level loops, and coordinate geometry
+ Operate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, GPS units, and data collectors
+ Document field notes, sketches, and digital data accurately for use in project deliverables and potential legal claims

+ Train and mentor junior crew members in field procedures and equipment use

**Qualifications** :

**Job Description:**

Join our team as a **Survey Crew Chief** in **Wexford, PA** where you'll lead surveying operations with state-of-the-art technology. We are seeking a motivated individual with expertise in one-man field operations using robotic total stations and RTK GPS. ENTRUST Solutions Group is looking for a Survey Crew Chief to join our growing team! If you're a seasoned survey professional who enjoys leading field crews, working with advanced equipment, and contributing to impactful infrastructure and land development projects, this could be the perfect fit.
In this role, you'll take the lead on a variety of field survey projects, guiding your crew through tasks like topographic, boundary, ALTA/NSPS, FEMA Elevation Certifications, and construction stakeout surveys. You'll be hands-on with advanced equipment-total stations, GPS units, robotic instruments, and even 3D scanners-ensuring accurate data collection and smooth field operations. Your day-to-day will involve performing survey computations using trigonometry, geometry, and algebra, interpreting site plans and plats, and maintaining clear, detailed field notes. You'll also be the go-to person for troubleshooting issues in the field, coordinating with clients and team members, and making sure safety protocols are followed. If you enjoy working outdoors, leading a team, and turning complex data into precise results, this role is a great fit.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ 3-6 years of experience in land surveying or a related utility-based field.
+ Valid driver's license and ability to travel full-time to project sites.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ NSPS/CST Level 2 certification.
+ Experience with modern survey technologies such as GPS, LiDAR, UAS, and GIS.
+ Familiarity with CAD software for map and plan preparation.
