Covenant Christian is seeking a strong Christian to be an Assistant Swim Coach. Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Maintain high expectations for student athletes and managers both academically and athletically.
- Utilize, organize and work with other assistant coach(es) and team parent(s).
- Educates individuals, groups, or teams on the rules, strategies, and techniques for the sport.
- Assists in organization and implementation of practice sessions.
- Trains, encourages, and motivates athletes to prepare them for games.
- Teaches safety rules and regulations and ensures they are enforced.
- Develops physical conditioning programs that equip athletes to meet their potential.
- Evaluates team members to determine fitness levels and potential; assigns positions or roles to athletes based on strengths and weaknesses.
- Ensures athletes are using equipment properly and safely.
- Identifies the strengths and weaknesses of players and modifies coaching strategies accordingly.
- Remains current on changes in rules, coaching philosophies and techniques, and technology relevant to particular sport or sports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Under the supervision of the Pool Manager, the Pool Supervisor is responsible for the completion of daily tasks assigned to ensure and maintain a safe and welcoming environment. Job Summary

Education & Experience

Physical Requirements

Fundamental Requirements

- As directed by the Property Engineer, maintain proper chemical and temperature levels in the pool, whirlpool, sauna, etc., to ensure guest comfort and adherence to state and local regulations.
- Ensure the safety of all exercise equipment by checking daily or as directed by the Property Engineer, if applicable.
- Ensure the upkeep, cleanliness and housekeeping of the pool area; utilize a pool area checklist to monitor quality on a regular basis.
- Ensure the cleanliness of pool restrooms/locker rooms and maintain a sufficient inventory of supplies.
- Ensure the upkeep of the pool by performing general cleaning including pool furniture.
- Assist as needed with the processing of pool area linen to ensure that a supply of towels is maintained at all times.
- Ensure the maintenance, housekeeping and upkeep of the spa/whirlpool (if applicable).
- Sweep pool area, empty ash urns and trash containers.
- Complete daily reports and logs as required.
- Complete special projects as assigned by management.
