What You Will Do:

Network Administration:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure, including routers and switches
Update and configure antivirus software and other tools to secure the network
Apply Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) updates to switches and follow Software Test and Evaluation (STE) policies
Design and plan Cisco NEXUS network infrastructure, including setup and ongoing maintenance
Configure Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) for switch administration
Use network monitoring and management tools such as Solarwinds to oversee network performance
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise and proven experience with Cisco network environments:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
Five (5) additional years of Network Administration experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
Fifteen (15) years of experience as a Network Administrator supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Demonstrated experience downloading software and upgrading Cisco switches and firewalls
