MUST HAVE A IRS MBI CLEARANCE OR A TOP SECRET CLEARANCE

Provide architecture direction and support for the modernization of the System, including collaboration with the team and stakeholders to provide direction for moving to containers, the Cloud and other target environments.

Primary Duties:

• Develop and extend the architecture. This includes developing architecture artifacts and presenting them to the team and IRS stakeholders
• Provide recommendations/architectural options and solutions for migrating MeF to microservices, containers and the Cloud
• Maintain and/or create contractual deliverables in accordance with IRS templates
• Identify opportunities for new business with the IRS
• Provide LoE estimates for Impact Assessments and VROMs
• Provide recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices on MeF

• Experience in developing, in collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, partners, project teams, and vendors, architectures for large, complex programs
• Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience in leading teams of architects and/or developers
• Experience modernizing complex enterprise applications, including Java applications, for the Cloud
• Experience modernizing complex enterprise applications, leveraging microservices running in containers
• Experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
• Experience with building complex AWS GovCloud solutions
• Experience developing solutions leveraging Event Driven Architecture patterns
• Experience with information security for large, highly sensitive Java applicationss
• Experience maintaining requirements and traceability against business and application
