Job Responsibilities
Trident Technical College's Business Technology department is seeking a Network System Management /Cybersecurity Instructor Fall 2025 academic year. This position works under limited supervision, reports to the department head and is primarily responsible for teaching courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instruction, designing and developing curriculum, evaluating student performance and advising students.
To meet the demands of course schedules, faculty must teach varying schedules, including nights and occasional weekends, at a variety of locations, utilizing technology in instruction and a variety of teaching methods. Candidates must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a master's degree in computer Networking, Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related computer field or a bachelor's degree in computer Networking, Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Security and two (2) years of related work/teaching experience in information technology. Candidates with an associate degree in the information technology discipline, a bachelor's degree, and four (4) years of work/teaching experience related to industry experience in information technology will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certification is preferred for candidates possessing a bachelor's degree or an associate degree. Prior teaching experience is highly desirable.
