We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial/service/sales environment to fill the position of System Monitoring Specialist for our Fredericksburg location.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
1. Be responsible for all Sigma Air Utility compressed air systems through:
1. Remote Monitoring
1. Remote dial-in to the compressor station and evaluate the demand to supply profile.
2. Independently act on system alarms and e-mail notifications.
3. Pro-actively coordinate with servicing partners and/or site personnel to address critical alarms, including dispatching technicians after hours.
4. Monitor service intervals, coordinate scheduling of on-site service and maintenance activity.
5. Schedule and coordinate site visits for regular systems inspections.
6. When required perform site audits to identify potential areas of improvement.
7. Analyze data with Kaeser proprietary software to correlate faults to system operation and recognize system trends.
8. Provide reports based on analyzed data for escalations and management of site performance.
2. Coordinates with the Technical Department to:
1. Independently review service intervals and optimize based on site data analysis.
2. Provide as necessary "real world" data for machine service and maintenance lifecycle calculations.
3. Evaluate necessary improvement initiatives.
4. When necessary supervise site work to assure adherence to the specifications.
5. Perform task and supervise activities within the approved budgets and provide justification when cost overruns occur.
6. Monitors compressors and compressed air stations outside of SAU as required.
2. Responsible for learning and following all applicable procedures and work instructions relating to the Company's quality and environmental system.
3. Performs all other duties assigned by the Manager.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate's background will include:
+ High School Diploma required; Bachelor degree required or equivalent experience 3+ years job related experience.
+ Good customer service experience.
+ Previous experience as a technician, troubleshooting or mechanical aptitude preferred.
+ Familiar with data processing including graphing and interpretation preferred.
+ Understanding of compressed air systems and the application of supply side components preferred.
+ Ability to understand and produce/edit technical documents.
+ Good communication skills/phone skills required.
+ Computer skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace.
+ SAP experience preferred.

Job Summary : As a Fire Alarm System Monitoring Technician , you will be a key member of the team at the Hines VA Hospital. And will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and uptime of the Simplex Fire Alarm Systems within this major healthcare facility. Must have a current NICET Level II certification to be considered .

What You’ll Do :
- Monitor the Simplex Fire Alarm System for alerts, faults, and system troubles, responding promptly to maximize uptime
- Troubleshoot and resolve fire alarm system issues, coordinating with hospital staff and external vendors as needed
- Ensure all fire alarm system work and documentation meets NFPA 72 requirements and healthcare facility standards
- Maintain detailed records of system events, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
- Perform routine system checks and periodic testing in accordance with NFPA 72 and other applicable codes
- Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital personnel, facility management, and internal team members
- Operate independently, demonstrating initiative and a high level of accountability.
What You’ll Need :
- NICET Level II Fire Alarm Systems Certification (REQUIRED)
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with fire alarm systems in a commercial or healthcare environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
- Demonstrated ability to ensure and document system compliance with NFPA 72
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and deliver a high degree of customer service
- Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. as required for system access and troubleshooting.

As Robotics System Reliability & Monitoring (DevOps) Engineer, you will:
- Help define and build our Monitoring infrastructure, enabling us to scale our growing number of devices and deployments in the field
- Create a strategy and implement tools, processes, and metrics to drive Formic monitoring structure toward 99.999% availability
- Partner with customer IT teams to create tools to ensure smooth integration of our systems with customer networks
- Monitor existing systems and resolve issues as necessary
- Support provisioning of Monitoring infrastructure on new deployments
- Respond to issues detected by our automated monitoring infrastructure
- Monitor Grafana dashboards for any anomalies
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience and training
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps and/or IT role with similar responsibilities
- Experience working with physical hardware is required (e.g. IT or DevOps support of cameras, television, automotive products, etc.)
- Experience partnering with external IT departments and customers
- Deep understanding of Linux
- Solid understanding of physical networking
- Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, including CloudFormation or Terraform
- Previous experience or exposure to Robotics or IoT is a big plus
