About the Team

As a member of the system software team, you will be responsible for delivering high quality embedded code enhancing the touch input experience on the Tesla infotainment system. Join a team of deeply knowledgeable engineers that strive to build the most robust and reliable software platform using cutting-edge software development tools and practices. You will solve some of the most challenging problems in the system software space and change the way the world produces electric vehicles and delivers energy.

• Optimize touch-to-pixel latency across the stack, ensuring a responsive and seamless user experience
• Collaborate with the team to enhance existing input architecture
• Deliver high-quality code and configurations in an embedded software and build environment
• Identify and improve existing systems incrementally while maximizing impact and return on investment

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field with a graduation date between 2026 - 2027
• Experience with C/C++ languages and Linux environment
• Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new languages, frameworks, tools, and technologies without limitations

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Remote System Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain system-level software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of operating systems, low-level programming, and system architecture, with the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
