Description
Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:
  1. Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  2. Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF.
  3. Prepare scripts to create and modify existing Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, convert and migrate data when necessary.
  4. Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports.
  5. Mentor and assist other programmers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
  6. Use a source code repository, such as Tortoise SVN or Visual SVN, or TFS for checking source code in and out, and branching off new versions of the source code.
  7. Work within the IT Service Management System to take in incidents and service requests for the application, as well as request services from other ITS groups.
  8. Coordinate service requests with various ITS Shared Services team releases and changes for the application ( e.g, Opcon, Stealth Request, MFT).
  9. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
  10. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor
Mandatory Qualifications 1 84 months experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C# and/or ASP.NET for n-tier web deployment. 2 84 months experience developing and maintaining web applications that utilize HTML, XML, JSON, AJAX, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap and Cascading Style Sheets. 3 84 months experience with Oracle: Database design, PL SQL coding, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, creating tables, etc., 4 84 months experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and building the logic within an application's code to meet those requirements. 5 84 months experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) application integration including development of secure .Net web-services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). 6 36 months experience developing applications that follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 7 48 months experience developing applications with MVC 5 or later versions. 8 24 months experience in designing & implementing CI/CD workflows. 9 24 months experience coding and maintaining applications which contain Health Care data that fall under HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).   • Design and implement web interfaces for the company platform from conception to completion, this includes set up and integration of system components (proprietary software and third party software solutions) into the platform.
  • Work on continuous improvement of the platform through new tools for automation, monitoring and rapid deployment; Ensure technology adoption is set-up to the ever-changing technological landscape, while enhancing performance and fitting into existing systems.
  • Develop subject matter expertise on the design and implementation of legacy tools/applications; determine product enhancements, or replacements, and a clear and cogent path forward.
  • Maintain and develop new standards within infrastructure and evangelize new and emerging technologies within the organization. Evaluate existing technologies and articulate the logic behind adoption of new tools or systems.
  • Assist in defining best practices and standards for all engineering products present in, interacting with, or onboarding onto our ecosystem, including in accordance with policies and procedures, such as change control and standard development methodologies and frameworks.
  • Establish standards and guidelines for the design & development, tuning, testing, deployment and maintenance of applications.
  • Work with internal teams to develop or integrate new products, including platforms representing the lifecycle of events.

The Senior Enterprise Systems (ES) Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, integration, and ongoing support of enterprise applications and related systems. This role supports both operational and strategic initiatives by building and maintaining technical solutions across various platforms. Duties

  • Designs, develops, implements, and maintains enterprise applications and system customizations using tools, scripting, and development languages such as PeopleSoft Tools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, Application Engine, Component Interface, etc.), PLSQL, C, Cobol, Python, Power Query, DAX, etc

Leidos is seeking a SharePoint Systems Administrator to support the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC). The SharePoint System Administrator will support infrastructure services, operations, and maintenance across multiple enclaves of different classifications with remote administration for server farms located in centralized data centers. The SharePoint Admin shall deploy, operate, and maintain SharePoint services, including load balancing, PKI authentication, and claims-based authentication as well as support site setup, permission management, troubleshooting, and service requests for customers as well as content and knowledge managers. This individual will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met and ensure functionality of capabilities of customers.

This role requires an individual that is technical, customer oriented, and familiar with using SharePoint. This individual should be detail oriented in order to capture customer inquiries appropriately. Role requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

This is a 100% on-site position. All work must be performed at the customer site in Bethesda at the Intelligence Community Campus.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Interacting with customers to handle service inquiries and problems.

  • Provide implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.

  • Rapidly distinguish isolated user problems from enterprise-wide application/system problems.

  • Identify methods for direct integration with Identity Management (IdAM) technologies.

  • Assist users with manual migrations from older SharePoint versions to SharePoint 2019 or SharePoint Online.

  • Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for Root Cause Analysis, engineering technical assessment and process improvement initiatives.

  • Support customer requirements in a 24/7/365 mission environment.

  • Update operations and maintenance documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with after-hours triage and troubleshooting of common SharePoint problems.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with SharePoint technologies to include SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online.

  • Experience with configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems.

  • Experience with managing SQL clusters in support of SharePoint farms.

  • Familiar with patch maintenance for SQL clusters.
