ROLE:The Mobile Phlebotomist, under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, works to provide clinical pre-analytical laboratory services to our clients/patients in a mobile setting. They are responsible for completing their assigned routes in a safe and timely manner. They must follow all policies and procedures.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Drives vehicle to client facilities, typically nursing homes, as directed by company dispatcher.•Unloads phlebotomy tray and takes to patient's bedside to collect samples ordered by physician.•Accurately identifies patient before collecting specimen(s).•Accurately collects, labels, processes, and delivers specimens obtained from patients.•Reloads equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery.•Regularly communicates with dispatcher to report status and location.•Strict adherence to Universal Precautions in controlling blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease exposures.•Maintain required certifications, health requirements, and operational requirements.•Keeps work area clean.•Follow all required safety precautions ALL the time.•Reports any unsafe conditions in the workplace.•Reports all complaints and problems encountered.•Monitors supplies inventory.•Reports low stock or out-of-stock situations.•Identifies and segregates any expired supplies•Reports to work promptly, properly groomed and wears the proper identification at all times when visiting a facility.•Accurately maintains time records of hours worked and deliver to company as directed.Manages his/her assigned shift to include meal breaks.•Follows all specimen preservation, patient preparation and specimen management processes and procedures as written without personal deviation•Drives vehicle to client facilities (mostly nursing homes), as directed by company dispatcher or assigned supervisor or coordinator.•Unloads phlebotomy tray provided by the company and takes to patient's bedside to collect samples for tests ordered by physician.•Accurately identifies patients before collecting specimens.•Accurately collects, labels, processes and delivers specimens obtained from patients.•Reloads equipment and all necessary specimens to vehicle for prompt delivery.•Regularly communicates with dispatcher to report status and location. Mariners Training Center (MTC) Mobile instructors are responsible for developing and delivering top-level instruction for youth athletes ranging from beginner to advanced and in various instructional programs. Mobile Instructors will support camps, clinics, and special events in the Seattle Mariners Market.

This is a seasonal position running from June through September , ideal for individuals seeking summer employment in a dynamic, fast-paced sports environment. There is potential for continued opportunities beyond the summer season based on performance, organizational needs, and availability.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform skill-specific instruction at fields/facilities in and around the Mariners community
• Build and maintain relationships with athletes, families, and coaches in the community
• Deliver age and ability-appropriate content to athletes in the team, camp/clinic, small group, and 1-on-1 settings
• Collaborate and co-instruct with other skill-specific instructors
• Assist in the preparation, setup, and breakdown of equipment for training programs and events
• Attend staff meetings, instructor meetings, and company events, as needed

• Played and/or coached at the collegiate and/or professional levels
• Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to follow instructional plans and station rotations tailored for various ages and abilities
• Ability to adjust instructional plans for athletes, as needed
• Ability to travel within the Mariners market to support camps, clinics & special events

• Learning and utilizing technologies to enhance instruction and athlete experience
