Position Summary
Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for recruiting top talent across the organization and championing best practices to ensure best in class experience for all candidates from sourcing, recruiting, assessing, phone screening, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Full cycle recruiting:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing candidates, researching jobs for hiring managers, creating positions/job postings, crosschecking resumes and applications to ensure applicants meet minimum qualifications on job postings, creating scripts/interview questions for interviews, interviewing, creating technical skills assessments, and cultural fit interviewing so that the best hiring decisions can be made.
- Meeting Leadership & Facilitation:
- Facilitate meetings related to hiring, recruitment strategy, or process improvement.
- Lead hiring kickoff meetings with hiring managers to align on needs and expectations.
- Train new hires on the hiring process, best practices, etc.
- Train supervisors on topics relevant to this position and hiring managers.
- Facilitate hiring performance meetings with hiring managers to review recruiting effectiveness and improvements.
- Interview expertise:
- Conduct phone screens, cultural fit interviews, (phone, video, and in-person).
- Responsible for making early-stage hiring decisions ensuring that applicant meets minimum qualifications listed on each position/job posting.
- Active recruiting:
- Sources and engages candidates, not just processes applications.
- Sources and attracts talent by utilizing various creative channels to connect with our community ensuring that our workforce mirrors our community. Examples: job boards, social media, professional networks, community events and job fairs, speeding hiring events, career open house events on site, recruitment agencies, etc.
- Recommends creative recruiting sources to ensure we maintain staffing levels at four CrescentCare locations.
- Sources middle manager and executive roles in LinkedIn or other creative recruitment sources.
- Sources front line roles using Indeed or other creative recruitment sources.
- Sells CrescentCare as an employer of choice at community outreach events, career fairs, speed interviewing events, etc.
Required Qualifications without college degree:

Manages responses to applicants including but not limited to: receipt of application, application status and specific information reconciling applicant qualifications relative to job requirements.
Serves as a key resource for referred candidates in identifying best job fit, providing recommendations of the best way to engage in the recruitment process and following up with the referring party.
Develops and maintains network and database of potential candidates for future reference, which includes pipeline of passive candidates.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and talent acquisition, human resources, employment laws and regulations as normally obtained through a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field with three (3) years of related talent acquisition and sourcing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience sourcing and recruiting in a 3rd party agency, target marketing or a sales environment within the healthcare sector is preferred.
Experience with and knowledge of sourcing effectiveness, screening, interviewing, selection and candidate assessment techniques, as well as selling and closing techniques.
Demonstrated successful experience directly soliciting passive candidates via the phone or a related inside sales experience.
Possesses the ability to create a compelling employment value proposition statement for engaging and recruiting passive top talent.

This is a contract opportunity based in the Orange, CA area.
Core Duties:
Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to deeply understand position requirements and candidate profiles.
Develop and maintain robust pipelines of high-potential talent for both immediate openings and long-term workforce needs.
Leverage social media, professional networks, and industry events to proactively identify and engage prospective candidates.
Craft compelling recruitment messages and outreach campaigns that spark candidate interest.
Manage candidate data and sourcing activity within the Applicant Tracking System (Workday).
Reconnect with past applicants and nurture passive talent to keep them engaged with new opportunities.
Track and report on sourcing activity, including outreach results, conversion rates, and successful placements.
What We’re Looking For
2–3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, or a related function.
Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, including social recruiting and talent pipeline development.
Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
Familiarity with the Orange County job market is a plus.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Flexibility to support occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.
