**Talent Acquisition Partner**
Caterpillar's Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) product teams deliver world class products across commercial and machine markets that bring the best value to our customers while achieving business commitments. We are currently looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner that can be effective as a full lifecycle recruitment advisor in both high volume and high technical roles within the division.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Caterpillar, you will coordinate staffing processes for LPSD, engineering, and manufacturing roles. You'll work with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, review requisitions, source for passive talent, review resumes and provide top talent, manage full recruiting lifecycle while providing excellent customer service. This is a key role on the Human Resources team supporting the Talent Acquisition responsibility for an organization of more than 9,000 global employees within our Large Power Systems Division. **What You Will do:**
+ Counseling hiring managers regarding recruiting strategies and practices that support the goals and direction of the organization; leveraging data to drive decision-making.
+ Sourcing, pipelining, phone screening, scheduling interviews, making offers, performing pre-employment screening, and communicating orientation and start date plans for new employees.
+ Utilizing the applicant tracking system (ATS), Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools and industry leading sourcing technologies to deliver the most qualified candidates for current roles and building strong candidate pipelines for future roles.
+ Developing plans for sourcing appropriate and diverse candidates, conducting the interview process, and extending offers to selected candidates while maintaining a low cost per hire for early talent roles.
+ Collaborate across the organization, talent acquisition community, and business segment to support Caterpillar at recruitment events and programming, as well as community outreach initiatives
+ Partner with business leaders and HR team members to develop and maintain effective relationships across Engineering, Manufacturing, and LPSD teams.
+ Provide back-up recruiting services within the LPSD team and for other regions as needed.

+ Candidate Sourcing: Knowledge of techniques, methods and channels of candidate sourcing; ability to attract and qualify candidates for immediate job vacancies or as potential long-term job candidates.
+ Staffing and Recruiting: Knowledge of standards, processes, techniques and methods used in staffing and recruiting; ability to identify, select, retain and relocate qualified personnel, both internally and externally, for a wide range of positions.
+ Workforce Analytics: Knowledge of human resources (HR) and workforce issues and trends; ability to analyze workforce data, information and metrics and apply the results to support business decisions.
+ Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.

**Overview**

**Role Definition** :
The **Talent Acquisition Partner** will be responsible for developing a professional rapport with hiring managers and stakeholders to evaluate hiring needs. The TA Partner will develop executive candidate pipelines for high demand positions in a proactive recruitment strategy.
**What you will do:**
+ Engages with leaders and HR to understand the business talent needs, challenges and priorities in order to build proactive sourcing and go-to-market strategies for identifying and attracting top executive talent. Have an in-depth understanding of the business areas and the skills which are in demand.
+ Demonstrate proven success in high volume skilled production labor recruitment efforts to maintain full operation of a 2,000 - 3,000 personnel facility.
+ Utilization with Workday ATS from both a sourcing and record keeping/maintenance perspective.
+ Use creative sourcing strategies using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Beamery and other channels to generate candidate pipelines, new leads, and nurture existing leads. Demonstrated advanced technical sourcing methodologies.
+ Ensure the positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity and build brand advocacy for the Caterpillar brand.
+ Provide continuous feedback to Hiring Managers and Leaders on sourcing and recruiting activity, outreach, challenges and overall insights on the external market conditions. Ability to translate challenges into creative solutions to overcome roadblocks.
+ Curious about learning new sourcing methodologies and collaborating with other TA professionals on best practices. Top candidates will be comfortable using trial and error to discover new approaches.

**Responsibilities:**
