**About the role:**
WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for an HR Business Partner to join our team in Duluth, GA. This position will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence from an HR perspective as well as an equally important focus on supporting business growth. This role coaches and partners with employees and managers, ensuring an exceptional employee experience through the entire employee lifecycle.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Become a trusted resource by working closely with management and employees to provide advice on sensitive issues, including but not limited to performance, conflict management, interpretation of policies, coaching and employee development opportunities.
+ Partner with the HR team to plan, coordinate and deliver seamless human resources processes and programs across the organization.
+ Work closely with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on open requisitions within the business unit.
+ Partner with Total Rewards on compensation classification and benchmarking. Provide internal and external equity data to senior management.
+ Oversee the annual performance management process for the business unit.
+ Produce and analyze various reports, matrics and KPI's.
+ Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management practices, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
+ Conduct exit interviews. Summarize and provide recommendations for potential areas of improvement.
+ Participate in company-wide HR intitiatves and continuous improvement.
+ Other duties and tasks as assigned.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred.
**Knowledge / training:**
+ Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, compensation practices, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
+ Employee relations expertise, demonstrating a proven track-record of success
+ Result oriented. Sense of urgency in responding to business needs.
+ Self-starting individual who possesses resililency and the ability to provide solutions.
+ Proven ability to understand how people issues impact the business and provide recommendations for resolution.
+ Advanced knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems.
+ Multi-state experience preferred.
+ Experience working in a customer-focused and collaborative work environment.
**Experience:**
+ 7-10 years of experience in a professional level Human Resources role.
+ 5+ years of demonstrated experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
+ HR-related certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred.
