- Screen applicants by using structured, position-specific questions created for the interview and customized in conjunction with management to obtain all requirements of the position
- Identifies, develops, and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including the use of job boards, news publications, the Employment Development Department, schools, alumni groups, public organizations, and transit websites
- Coordinates and participates in job fairs at various local colleges, sets up displays, responds to candidate questions; prepares materials for presentations as necessary, regarding the benefits of LBT as an employer
- Develops and updates job descriptions and job specifications to perform job and task analysis

Job Description
Responsible for full cycle recruiting; effectively research and build internal and external relationships to fill existing and future openings. Keep hiring managers and candidates informed of the status throughout the recruiting process to improve the likeliness of a positive recruiting experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Build, develop and maintain applicant sources, including but not limited to developing an ongoing pipeline through traditional and nontraditional avenues, including but not limited to advertising, job fairs, schools / universities, community services, professional organizations, and social media
- Screen applications and resumes for qualified candidates; conduct phone and in-person interviews with candidate to assess skills, competency in relation to open positions; recommends candidates to hiring manager; coordinate candidate interviews with hiring managers
- Perform reference checks on selected candidates; process approval paperwork
- Maintain records and files of recruiting activities, candidates, and outcomes for talent acquisition team
- Complies with local, state, and federal regulations, stays abreast of changing legislation, implements changes into recruiting process

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field or four (4) years equivalent work experience
