  Role Overview

  BFT Coaches are highly accredited fitness pros who enjoy: actively coaching, building a community; motivating, guiding, and investing energy in each of our members' journeys.   Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Lead and/or support the lead coach to teach pre-designed periodized and progressive sessions/workouts with groups of up to 36 diverse members in a fun, high energy, and up-scale studio atmosphere

Be an active participant and hands-on coach in session, providing form cues, demos, and instruction to promote great movement and form across hundreds of functional and supporting exercises

Create energizing class sessions, and connect with members on their individual goals and physical needs/challenges as they pursue great health gains!

Understand and communicate each class intent and session flow to be able to create a safe, fun and positive experience for each member in every class. Anticipate session challenges and be prepared with individual and group modifications.

Qualifications:

Passion for delivering an exceptional boutique fitness experience is a must as is a passion for strength training with dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells and an array of functional equipment.

4-year degree strongly preferred, ideally in a fitness-related field.

Demonstrated ability to connect with and motivate clients/members, knowing their goals and providing health and fitness coaching. Ability to create a positive inspirational environment that engages people of all types. Charismatic, energetic, and motivating in a group environment.

Nationally recognized PT certification with active CPR/AED certs. 1-year or more prior coaching experience in a group setting preferred

The Care Coach assesses and evaluates client member's needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members. The Care Coach work assignments are often straightforward and of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities:

• Visit Medicaid members in facilities (ex: Health and Rehabilitation Centers) and other care settings – 75-90% local travel
• Assesses and evaluates member's needs and requirements in order to establish a member specific care plan

The Wellness Coach will assist consumers with accessing needed community services (medical, psychological, substance use, vocational, food, clothing, etc.) through the development of a referral network, referrals, and follow up.

• Provide case management to assigned caseload

POSTION SUMMARY

The Family Coach role reports directly to the Family Services Director, who reports to the Executive Director. This role is responsible for providing transformative coaching to JP participants seeking to secure foundational basic needs, complete higher education, and ensure their children flourish in education and beyond. The Family coach walks alongside moms authoring their own stories, offering thought partnership, resources, support, and development. The Family Coach delivers individual and group programming to ensure moms have access to a continuum of skills and supports as they work to disrupt the cycle of generational poverty.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Family Coach is responsible for representing the two-generation mission of the program and working directly with participants at the JP campus. Key responsibilities include the following:

Coaching

• Recognize the deep humanity of the JP mom and enable the conditions for safe, judgement free reflection that is rooted in an understanding of the systemic barriers that affect single moms experiencing poverty, including but not limited to race, gender, and class barriers.
• Co-develop individual goal plans for participants to provoke self-discovery and personal growth; engage in goal setting and meaningful action
• Coach participants by encouraging agency, promoting alignment between their personal values and actions, and generating innovative solutions using empowerment techniques.
• Through coaching, act as accountability partner to participants as they strive towards their self-determined individual goals and navigate the systems to achieve economic mobility, including but not limited to college completion and career ambitions.
• Provide support, crisis intervention, guidance, and resource referrals to address a variety of barriers to the student-parent journey, including housing, legal services, immigration, finances, food security and more.
• Reinforce program concepts and tools learned in JP programming.

Program Facilitation and Delivery

• Work closely with the Family Services Director to deliver high-quality programming that is responsive and meaningful in supporting moms in their journeys.

A Brief Overview

The individual in this role utilizes their experience and education to provide day-to-day guidance, direction, support, and technical development and leadership to an assigned manufacturing team. What You Will Do

• Execute and support all production stages which include but are not limited to; synthesis, cleavage, cyclization, conjugation, purification, reconstitution, lyophilization and in-process analytics. Sign off on steps requiring supervision, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, make data-based decisions and escalate to appropriate parties when necessary.
• Provide technical training and guidance on equipment, SOPs, and chemistry processes to support the ongoing development of each member of the team. Ensures that all team member Master Control requirements are met in a timely manner. Maintains training and certification records for team members, as needed.
• Install, operate and maintain equipment for production and in-process testing. The equipment includes but is not limited to analytical HPLC/UPLC, prep. HPLC systems, lyophilizes, balances, reactors, HF cleavage equipment, diafiltration systems, water purification systems, ovens, washing systems and others used in manufacturing.
• Schedule work assignments and ensure team members are able to take timely rest breaks and meal periods and that all applicable hours are accurately captured on work orders. Stand in for team members to cover breaks or lunches to ensure that a process continues, as needed.
• Actively present in the labs to ensure that operations are running smoothly, and safety and compliance requirements are met. Ensure operators are trained properly on the required standards of operations; BPR, SOPs, STMs, utilization, Safety standards, 5S standards, compliance, etc. Approaches daily activities with a continuous improvement mindset. Regularly identifies improvement initiatives and involves team members in ongoing improvement activities.
• Ensure availability and safe, efficient use of the instruments, raw materials and other resources while scheduling production activities and communicating with all responsible departments involved.
• Review BPRs, logbooks, other quality documents, as needed, but at least once daily. Act as a witness to procedures as required. Provide constructive feedback to Managers regarding team members performance.
• Initiate, investigate and close quality events (Deviation, CAPA, etc.) in a timely manner. Support investigations and implementation of corrective actions with technical knowledge.
• Ensure seamless transfer of information and responsibilities across shifts and between areas. Plan, attend and lead production huddles meetings representing production team, bringing knowledge of processes, equipment and schedule, as needed.
• Ability to work late shifts on a continuous basis and be flexible of working hours based on business needs which may include some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or the equivalent
• Master's Degree Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, or the equivalent (preferred)
• 1-3 years experience in cGMP manufacturing and the related documentation standards, including safety, health and compliance regulations as specified by federal, state and local governments.
• 4-6 years pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
• Thorough understanding of all manufacturing stages and in-process analytical methods
• Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods. Knowledge of solvent, waste and materials flow is required.
• Familiar with and fully capable of operating and training on scientific manufacturing equipment and utilities
• Experience working safely with hazardous materials and hazardous waste.
• Advanced computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications. SAP experience. (preferred)

Base Annual Salary Range: $83,638 to $115,060

Placement of new hires in these wage ranges is based on several factors including education, skill sets, experience, and training.
