Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees the timely delivery of goods and services to the vessels by running reports to ensure that buyer and supplier performance meets the departmental requirements and take actions with Buyers or Commodity Managers to address outliers.
- Ensures that Master Loading Schedule and Storing and Ordering Schedules are updated and properly used by the Buyers, allowing vessels the appropriate time to store provisions and place orders for replenishment. Ensures consistency between purchase orders, and Master Loading Schedule.
- Coordinates supplier meetings, assists with product evaluations and reviews supplier performance.
- Ensures that required audits are completed, and that the feedback on performance is communicated to suppliers/Commodity Managers.
