**Power Your Future with Qualus** as a Lead Project Controls Specialist in our Program Management organization. This position requires strong scheduling integration abilities of project team members and other departments. Electrical utility and substation project experience is preferred. **Responsibilities**
+ Perform project support and work planning scheduling services for the System and Protection Department.
+ Provides management and oversight to current project controls staff
+ Learns and uses written and/or historical knowledge procedures, processes, and workflows to develop reports that communicate the System Protection department's work plan near, mid, and long-term internally and externally.
+ Maintain department's work plan and continue to integrate other departments, other data sources such as the Engineering Department's Project Status Report (PSR)
+ Seeks inputs and changes affecting the work plan and ensures these are reviewed, accepted and then updates work plan appropriately.
+ Monitors and communicates department's project specific tasks, inputs required, and durations needed of work plan Project Managers during Project Plan development
+ Develops process for collecting data related to department trends and provides input to continuous improvement ideas
+ Creates dashboards and program reports for System Protection department manager
+ Review communication of department's status and assists with the communication of this status with project managers, stakeholders, and management.
+ Provides accurate and timely dissemination of information based on inputs developed and received.
+ Provides a high level of customer service and fosters team building. Builds strong relationships with peers, stakeholders and management.
+ Works with the project stakeholders to capture and document the business requirements of the department and desired end-state.
+ Builds schedule templates specifically for System Protection's use (not Project Team templates).
+ Utilizes staff integration of inputs required, durations of tasks, and resources required for specific tasks to be communicated to project teams.

**Qualifications**
+ Must have 10+ years of experience with scheduling and work planning.
+ Specific software experience using MS Project or P6 Primavera for scheduling and resource management and proficient in Excel.
+ Degree in Project Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent work experience is preferred.

- Initiate development and management of project Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules using Primavera P6 in alignment with the scope of work, contract requirements, and company standards, then incorporate feedback from the construction team to finalize and maintain schedules.
- Build and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities.

- Identify and communicate schedule risks and opportunities, focusing on impacts to project critical path and milestones.
- Understand and enforce contractual requirements. Support project teams in managing scope changes, delay claims, and compensation events by ensuring proper change management procedures are followed and documented.
- Conduct monthly (or as-needed) site visits to audit schedule progress, validate field productivity, and build strong relationships with site teams.
- Maintain accurate schedule documentation in compliance with internal standards and external audit requirements.
- Support business development by assisting in the preparation of proposal schedules, resource plans, and high-level project execution strategies.
- Mentor and support project controls analyst or project engineers in understanding CPM scheduling concepts and Primavera P6 best practices.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Support transportation operations by safely driving students to and from school on a schedule assigned by the Director of Transportation. Maintain department vehicles by checking fluid levels, cleaning, and fueling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED-preferred but not required
- Valid Commercial Driver's Licence-Class A or B with P & S endorsements

- Perform all school bus aide responsibilities
- Perform and document a pre-trip and post-trip inspection on every vehicle driven according to approved Splendora ISD and National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration guidelines, and report all defects in writing to the shop immediately
- Exercise caution and safety while driving, following all traffic laws and safety guidelines for school buses
- Ensure student safety while loading and unloading students
- Maintain student discipline to ensure the safety of students being transported, address student discipline issues using approved techniques and communicate with school personnel regarding student behavior on the bus
- Report and complete all required documentation for vehicle collisions, vehicle damage, and student injuries
- Keep the assigned bus clean
- Documenting and reporting inappropriate and unacceptable behavior
- Maintaining and updating student records on a timely basis
- Recognizing evidence of abuse and neglect
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters concerning student transportation for Splendora ISD
