**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Is responsible for providing department specific guidance, and training medical laboratory technicians and technologists. Assists in the investigation and resolution of departmental specific problems/complaints from physicians' patients, and their families, nursing and other laboratory or hospital personnel. Performs clinical laboratory testing in all/or designated areas and is responsible for reviewing daily reports. He/she is responsible for reviewing monthly quality control for his/her section, to include documenting variances and providing explanations for outliers and/or trending. Ensures major automated equipment is operational by performing required maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting procedures daily, or as needed. Ensures adequate supply levels for the assigned section and/or department. Instrumental in the review and preparation of departmental policies and procedures. Performs laboratory testing as necessary. Participates in bi-annual CAP inspections. Communicates to Laboratory Management all issues concerning the functioning of the laboratory. Employee will be responsible for knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychological, educational, safety and related criteria for the neonate, infant child, adolescent, adult and geriatric population. He/she will perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor within his/her scope of training.

Huntsman is seeking a Technical Team Lead supporting the Performance Products Division located in Conroe, Texas. This position will report to the Technical Manager.
Job Scope
Provide leadership and direction for the Technical Team supporting the Conroe plant in the capacity of a working supervisor.
In summary, as the Technical Team Lead, you will:
* With supervision and decision-making:
* Supervises process improvement, PSM, and process engineers. Ensures engineering resources coincide adequately with capital and expense projects. Group leader position is a working supervisor that provides technical support to the group and plant leadership. Assigns projects, ensures workflow, guides other engineers, and conducts performance evaluations.
* Manages and directs development of front-end design functions for plant CAPEX program including PSM projects scope development.
* Ensures resources coincide adequately and support plant needs related to maintaining the MOC process action tracking, incident actions, on-going MOC reviews, hazard study (PHA/LOPA) implementation, facility sitting reviews, ownership of locally adopted corporate process safety and engineering procedures, and other OSHA PSM requirements.
* Reviews completed PHA/LOPA hazard assessments for completeness and accuracy. Performs IPL (safeguard) assessment activities to help develop conceptual scopes.
* Participates in and conducts scope and project reviews. Reviews and develops project justifications. Develops project overview presentations for plant and senior management.
* Works with corporate personnel in other functions to ensure plant manufacturing project requests are appropriately resourced, corporate procedures are implemented appropriately at the plant level, prepares efforts for PSM audit activities, ensure audits items are tracked to completion.
* Responsible for prioritizing actions and managing projects schedules. Tracks status and completion of all action items related to the team.
* Responsible for the Safety Instrumented System (SIS) program from a design, specification, risk assessment, SIL determination, commissioning, MOC, performance monitoring and continuous improvement aspect.
Other general responsibilities:
* Participates in and completes company-required training programs.
* Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemical engineering with 5+ years of related experience.
Skills and knowledge
* Position will generally have direct reports who are senior, experienced engineers. Team Leader must have sufficient engineering experience and knowledge to command the respect of group members and plant management.
* Prior experience with hazard study assessment (PHA, LOPA, FS), area classification, and critical equipment assessment is highly recommended.
* Prior experience in front end design and detail design project functions would be a plus.
* Profiency with hazard study software such as PHA Pro would be a plus.
* Experience and in-depth understanding of Safety Instrumented System (SIS) design concepts, SRS development, SIL Calculations, and associated proof test techniques would be a plus.

The Lead Technical Developer is responsible for providing technical support to small, medium size projects.
Work with development & QA team members, product managers / SMEs, delivery leads, and architects to ensure quality delivery of projects(s). What You Will Do
Some core responsibilities for a QC Site Lead include:
* Perform quality control functions with high regard to integrity on KSPS projects, including the development and execution of field inspection plans
* Develop, maintain and keep digital record of quality packages for submittal to the client and KSPS corporate quality personnel
* Keep corporate quality personnel up to date on any quality issues, small or large
* Maintain a daily log / rollover log to keep quality informed of activities taking place on site
* Manage quality personnel on site in an effective matter based on comparative advantage with respect and humility
* Material receiving and inspection and approval
* Oversight of third party NDE and heat treatment including review of documentation for accuracy of work
* Review of welder qualifications before execution of work
* Monitoring and inspection of field welds and flange make-ups for conformance with codes and maintaining weld and flange logs
* Perform in person field review of work being performed by KSPS personnel as required
* Interaction with KSPS engineering, client, and third-party authorized inspectors
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to work long hours and all shift schedules that may require up to twelve hours a day, seven days a week for extended durations
* Must be able to work in confined spaces and be capable of climbing ladders, scaffolds and working at heights
* Must be able to perform work wearing personal protective equipment including but not limited to rain gear, chemical protective clothing, supplied air and air purifying respirators, safety harness, FRC coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses, etc.
* Respiratory Protection Fit Testing and Pulmonary Function Testing is required. Additional medical examinations, such as Fitness for Duty exams may be required per client guidelines. Hearing and vision within normal ranges also may be required per client requirements.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Experience in the Oil & Gas industry
* Ability to read and interpret drawings (ISO, P&ID, Installation / Fabrication)
* Familiarity with ASME, API and NBIC codes
* Proficiency with MS Office software
* Familiarity with Non-destructive examination and welding methods
* Certified Welding Inspector certificate or API 510 Certification
What Will Put You Ahead
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Experience with pressure vessel modifications
* Experience with flange inspection and assembly
