ASRC Federal Field Services provides logistical support at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in North Charleston (FLETC Federal Complex off Spruill Avenue). We are looking for **Part-time on-call role players** .
**Essential Job Functions:**
+ The individual plays a part in a script for scenario-based training for adult law enforcement students.
+ Will act in various physical training exercises that can be rigorous(Safety measures and protective gear are in place for these scenarios).
+ Individual will work in confined spaces on dry docked boats, in vehicles and in classrooms and outdoors in all weather conditions.
**Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or GED Preferred
+ Must be a US citizen
+ Must have a REAL ID or Passport
+ Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
+ Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a physical exam
+ Must be able to work on day shifts Monday -Friday

Role players are utilized as an integral part of basic training for Special Agent and Uniformed Division Officer trainees, as well as advanced training for operational agents and officers in professional development. The Role Player position is open to all genders.
- Role players assist in providing realistic scenarios where students and other law enforcement entities can make a practical application of the various investigative and law enforcement skills taught at an important factor in the success of a practical exercise is the quality and depth of the role-playing. The immediacy and realism of a situation can be lost unless a role player is able to live a role and freely adapt to it in response to the way an individual student handles each situation. In each scenario, role players cannot rely on an inflexible script as an actor does.
- Each role player must thoroughly understand the training objectives and their assigned role, adjusting to various outcomes and reacting appropriately to the unfolding situation. At times, role players will need to improvise in a way that aligns with the scenario, the instructor’s guidance, and the overall training goals.
- The role player must thoroughly understand the training objectives of each scenario and the role they are playing; therefore, each role player shall adjust to a variety of outcomes and react in a manner most appropriate to the way in which a situation.
- The role player shall improvise at times in a manner that is consistent with the scenario, the instructor’s direction, and the overall objectives of training. Role players are consistently used in training scenarios, which include surveillance, arrest situations, witness interviews, subject interrogations, blank-firing weapon exercises, and canine scenarios.
- Role players are typically assigned to scenarios scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM. Additional training may occur after 10:00 PM on weeknights or on weekends, depending on training requirements and the availability of training areas at JJRTC.
- Work will not be scheduled on holidays or during government closures, such as local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar government-directed facility shutdowns.
- Scenarios are conducted year-round at the JJRTC, often in varying weather conditions. Role players will be managed and coordinated by a Site Supervisor (SS) and Assistant Supervisor (AS).
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a combination of formal education above the high school level and several years of work experience. An associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Must be able to speak English at an eighth-grade level or higher.
- Be capable of meeting the USSS security requirements of this solicitation and successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with a customer service orientation, the ability to promote teamwork, and a focus on safety. Organization and attention to detail are key.

SUMMARY
Enhances the student(s) training value in high-fidelity scenario-based training, drills, and skills labs by providing a live moulage patient, opposing force (OPFOR), and scenario extras. Candidate(s) should have or can perform basic acting skills and portray specific injuries and roles with directions provided by aNAR Training, LLC(NAR-T) medical instructor or staff member. Candidate(s) will frequently work with a Moulage Artist to replicate specific injuries and illnesses supporting the training exercise. Candidate(s) often change into US/NATO uniforms, Appropriate OPFOR clothing, or civilian-based attire. NAR-T will provide all props, wardrobes, training vehicles, and any necessary gear to fulfill the training mission.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be added as needed to support the training mission.
- Applies acting skills to assigned role-player roles during scenario-based training in an operational environment.
- Prepares and maintains training gear needed for each scenario.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a patient and/or member of a US/NATO, Foreign National, OPFOR element or scenario extra based on the training scenario requirements.
- Act as a patient for clinical skills labs and testing at the NAR-T training facility. Role Player will be used for medical assessments, TCCC/PFC skills, NREMT Skills Testing, Paramedic Refreshers and any other applicable skills stations as required.
- Ability to memorize, present and act out specific signs and symptoms of your simulated injury/illness(s).
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in Role Player work area, clean the training facility and maintain all equipment used for a training event as needed. Including and not limited to: Vehicles, IED simulators, safety equipment, facilities, mobile command trailer, and any other equipment/areas as required.

Environment
- This job operates both in austere environments and in static climate-controlled facilities. SUMMARY/SCOPE
This is a part time position and is contingent upon contract award.
The Role Player will participate in law enforcement personnel training programs by role playing various types of characters in different situations. These situations
include: security processing, vehicle stops, sobriety test, suspect/witness interviews, and any other general situations that law enforcement personnel would generally encounter in their daily line of duty. The hours will vary depending on the assigned role and will be between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Typically each role may last from 2-4 hours, however, some roles may last up to 8 hours, and may occasionally run till midnight when needed.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Portray character role assigned, interview with students/instructors regarding the role when needed, in certain controlled situations relative to the character role may be subject to physical searches by students/instructors of the same and opposite gender.
· Consistently remain in the assigned character role during work schedule.
· Replicate various training situations and meet the physical requirements of the assigned role to include: jumping, running, kneeling, standing bending, reaching, and etc.
· Support instructors/students, adjust performance based on instructors/students feedback to meet training
personnel needs.
· Adhere to company policies and guidelines; complies with all governmental security policies
and procedures on training site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to portray assigned role in a safe and effective manner; demonstrate proper physical agility when needed, pay close attention to detail.
· Ability to memorize and remember details regarding assigned character role.
· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Display professional, neat appearance, dress according to role assigned, maintain professional conduct at all times.
· Display acceptable personal hygiene and present a neat appearance; wear appropriate apparel based on role assigned.

Requirements:
- Ability to realistically portray assigned roles.
- Pass a background check and a language proficiency interview (if applicable).
- Physically capable of participating in exercises, including wearing protective gear.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act out training scenarios according to provided scripts.
- Attend mandatory 16-hour initial training and quarterly 8-hour refresher training.
- Follow all safety regulations and instructions from the training staff.
- Wear appropriate attire and use props provided by the government.
- Report to designated locations on time and be prepared for assignments.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to training guidelines.

SUMMARY/SCOPE
This is a part time position and is contingent upon contract award.
The Role Player will participate in law enforcement personnel training programs by role playing various types of characters in different situations. These situations
include: security processing, vehicle stops, sobriety test, suspect/witness interviews, and any other general situations that law enforcement personnel would generally encounter in their daily line of duty. The hours will vary depending on the assigned role and will be between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Typically each role may last from 2-4 hours, however, some roles may last up to 8 hours, and may occasionally run till midnight when needed.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Portray character role assigned, interview with students/instructors regarding the role when needed, in certain controlled situations relative to the character role may be subject to physical searches by students/instructors of the same and opposite gender.
· Consistently remain in the assigned character role during work schedule.
· Replicate various training situations and meet the physical requirements of the assigned role to include: jumping, running, kneeling, standing bending, reaching, and etc.
· Support instructors/students, adjust performance based on instructors/students feedback to meet training
personnel needs.
· Adhere to company policies and guidelines; complies with all governmental security policies
and procedures on training site.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Ability to portray assigned role in a safe and effective manner; demonstrate proper physical agility when needed, pay close attention to detail.
· Ability to memorize and remember details regarding assigned character role.
· Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
· Display professional, neat appearance, dress according to role assigned, maintain professional conduct at all times.
· Display acceptable personal hygiene and present a neat appearance; wear appropriate apparel based on role assigned.
· Ability to pass a background check and preemployment drug screen.
· High School diploma or GED
· US Citizen or ability to work in United States
· Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.

Position Overview
Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Player Development Specialist to join our Casino Operations team. This position is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with high-value gaming customers, with the goal of increasing onboard gaming spend and visit frequency. Performance will be based on net profitability of guests booked, requiring excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive profitable new gaming revenue to Royal Caribbean ships through strategic player development and customer acquisition initiatives.
- Independently evaluate guest metrics to determine appropriate stateroom, onboard, and discretionary comps for high-value guests, in alignment with company guidelines and authorization levels.
- Utilize the casino rewards program, direct mail/email offers, and guest insights to grow spend and frequency among a personal portfolio of premium players, meeting annual net gaming revenue and booking goals.
- Plan, host, travel to and execute shipboard player development events in collaboration with VIP marketing to increase guest engagement and foster brand loyalty.
- Travel as needed to ships or land-based casinos to support VIP events and player development efforts.
- Reactivate lapsed customers from the database and identify opportunities to attract new high-value players.
- Resolve customer issues effectively to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat sailings.
- Prospect new casino guests through telemarketing, email outreach, and event invitations to drive first-time visits and long-term loyalty.
- Stay informed on casino marketing reinvestment strategies and competitor loyalty programs to maintain a competitive edge.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of customer profitability using available systems and reporting tools.
- Recommend and support new reinvestment strategies and promotional initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining high-end customers.
- Facilitate access to funds for premium players via casino credit and other approved cash access methods, in compliance with RCI guidelines.
- Manage and service bookings for high-value guests, ensuring a seamless experience from reservation to sailing.
- Collaborate with shipboard and shoreside teams to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the Player Development program.
- Communicating with customers evenings, weekends, and holidays is often necessary and may be required to meet goals and business objectives.
- Ability to communicate information clearly and professionally to clients & colleagues.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a customer-facing role within the casino, hospitality, entertainment, or related industry.
- At least 3 years of recent experience in Player Development or Casino Marketing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Energetic, assertive, and goal-oriented, thriving in a competitive and performance-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication skills across multiple platforms, including in-person, phone, email, and digital messaging.
- Proven experience in networking and sales, with a focus on relationship-building.
- Ability to independently resolve customer concerns and manage escalated situations with professionalism.
