Job Description
A CT Technologist (CT Tech) operates computed tomography (CT) scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. The CT Tech is responsible for obtaining high-quality images of a patient's body, which are used by physicians to diagnose conditions such as injuries, infections, cancers, and other abnormalities. Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor the equipment during imaging to ensure high-quality images are captured and that no errors occur during the process.
- Image Quality and Review :
- Review the CT images for quality, ensuring that all required areas are captured and the images meet diagnostic standards.
- Work closely with radiologists to ensure that images are of sufficient quality to support diagnosis.
- Repeat or adjust scans as necessary to improve image quality or ensure comprehensive imaging coverage.
- Patient Safety and Comfort :
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, including using the lowest possible dose for effective imaging and utilizing shielding where appropriate.
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and clean environment in the CT room, ensuring all equipment is sanitized between patients.
