The Evaluation Systems group of Pearson offers dynamic teacher licensing and performance assessment solutions. Our custom teacher licensure testing programs are 100 percent aligned to state standards. We also provide a wide variety of teacher licensure testing services such as test development, administration, and scoring. We work in a collaborative environment and are passionate about education.

We have immediate openings for candidates to score Digital Literacy and Computer Science remotely for our **Hadley** office.
**Key benefits**

**Overall Responsibilities**
+ Evaluates responses of teacher candidates in Massachusetts.
+ Successfully internalizes training and scoring guide, participates in discussions.
+ Must be able to put aside personal biases and apply scoring guide according to rubric requirements.
+ Meets quality and productivity requirements established for the scoring program.
+ Engage with other scorers in consensus scoring activities.
+ Pass a qualifying test before scoring.
**Working Conditions**
+ Training takes place before scoring begins. There may be a brief orientation meeting before the day of scoring occurs.
+ Scoring sessions are typically one or two days long and take place during the week Monday through Friday. Scoring sessions will occur once every 2 months. The scoring day runs from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., including training.
**Qualifications**
+ A bachelor's degree or higher, and
+ A current Massachusetts Digital Literacy and Computer Science teaching license OR recent college-level teaching experience in Digital Literacy and Computer Science, OR
+ A current Massachusetts Digital Literacy and Computer Science teaching license
+ AND be a current Massachusetts resident.
+ Knowledge of computer coding. Please list any programming languages you are familiar with on your resume.
+ Both active and retired teachers can be eligible to score, provided they hold a current teaching license.
+ Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)
+ Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to maintain a confidential work environment.
+ Eligible to work in the United States

**Job Description**
**Key Responsibilities:**

**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred.
+ Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs in a corporate setting.
+ Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and technical skill-building strategies.
+ Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), digital learning tools, and emerging educational technologies.
+ Deep understanding of the Kirkpatrick Model for learning evaluation and its practical application.
+ Strategic mindset with expertise in learning program design
+ Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

_The base pay range for this position is_ _$_ _122,400 - 170,000_ _USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Job description
- Design and develop Mendix applications, following internal best practices and guidelines. Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications. Customize and extend Mendix functionality using widgets, microflows, and JavaScript actions Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure code quality. Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using APIs and web services. Collaborate with the testing team to ensure proper unit testing and resolve any reported defects. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mendix applications. Stay up to date with the latest Mendix features, enhancements, and industry trends.
- Be the Technical lead from IT and interact with business
- Manage the team assigned and ensure proper delivery
- Responsible for deliverables to senior IT leadership as well as to the business users
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development with 12+ years of software development experience
- Prior experience in leading projects and team assigned
- Mendix "Advanced Developer Certification" or "Expert Developer Certification" is preferred
