1. Architectural Expertise: Gain an in-depth understanding of application functionality and the technical operational processes needed to support the platform. Acquire knowledge on the interaction of all the systems & sub-systems, how data flows, where failures are logged, and how systems can be made more resilient and scalable. 2. Cloud Platform: Deep understanding of the corporation's Cloud Vendor's offerings and the architectural ('ilities') trade-offs associated with each. Extensive knowledge in cloud infrastructure and can assist other Engineering teams (e.g. Security, Networking, Data, PSG) with monitoring and break fix incidents.
3. Stewardship: Participate in Architectural Reviews to validate designs and ensure that organizational standards are followed. Periodically audit the cloud environments to find areas for improvement.

You will be working within the government ecosystem, which means working, sometimes closely, with other government contractors and civil servants.
