As the Technical Services Specialist, you will support Quality Assurance (QA) and Research & Development (R&D) by developing and maintaining operational documents and data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for Customers, Suppliers, and internal teams, including Quality, R&D, Purchasing, and Production. Serving as the primary administrator for the Documentation Management Program and Redzone Quality Compliance System, you will play a key part in maintaining compliance and supporting seamless operations.
What you'll accomplish:
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) and Research & Development (R&D) by developing and maintaining operational documents such as finished goods specifications, SOPs, and product labels.
- Serve as the administrator for our Document Management Program and Redzone Quality Compliance system.
- Manage and update supplier quality documents in partnership with the Purchasing team.
- Provide training to employees on accessing and using documentation systems.
- Prepare reports from data analysis that help inform quality and performance improvements.
- Assist with internal audits and support QA during external audits.
- Contribute to change management initiatives for new products and processes.
- Partner with Sales to resolve customer requests.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience, especially in food processing, is a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
The position works in both an office and production setting, typically involving working in a climate-controlled environment and exposure to variable temperatures, including heat and cold. Requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing/pulling; contact with frozen food items, water, detergents, sanitizers, and allergens such as peanuts; machinery noise. Requires repetitive motions and lifting up to 25 lbs. Physical demands for an office setting position may include: sitting at a desk or computer workstation for extended periods; using a computer, phone, or other office equipment for extended periods; occasionally standing or walking to retrieve items or move around the office; lifting and carrying light objects such as files or papers, typically under 10 pounds; occasionally bending, stooping, or reaching for items or files. Compliance with OSHA and industry standards includes wearing required PPE such as steel-toe production boots, nitrile gloves, face protection, hearing protection, and hair and beard nets. Provide expert-level technical service support (internal and external) by:
