Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) Mission Technologies Warfare Systems partners with the DoD and defense innovation ecosystem to rapidly acquire and field critical and emerging technologies, particularly integrated communications, networking, and Systems-of-Systems (SoS) technologies, to enhance national security and warfighter capabilities. Through a multiagency contracting approach, the Collaborative Operations for Battlespace Resilient Architecture (COBRA) initiative focuses on advancing these technologies to achieve multi-domain battlespace integration and resilient command and control. Essential Job Responsibilities
Technical Drafter - Creates detailed technical blueprints, schematics, and drawings based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. Uses Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to produce accurate and clear representations of systems, structures, or components (Del. 18, 19). Ensures designs adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives. Collaborates with project stakeholders to review and refine designs, ensuring compatibility and functionality within broader system frameworks. Interprets technical data, calculations, and design sketches to develop comprehensive documentation. Provides support during the production and assembly phases by clarifying technical details and resolving design discrepancies. Maintains an understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and system requirements to produce designs that optimize efficiency and feasibility. Updates and archives technical drafts and blueprints, ensuring accessibility for future reference and compliance audits.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively

Job Description:
This position will report into the Packaging Engineering group under Combination Product Operations (CPO) in New Albany, Ohio (AOH). The role focuses on the development of engineering drawings and technical layout templates (TLTs) to support commercial artwork for labeling and secondary packaging printed components. Knowledge of labeling and secondary packaging design is key to the position. The position requires experience in multitasking different requests, technical problem solving and communication (written and verbal) skills, and the ability to work in teams and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Top Must Have Skill Sets:
• Bachelor's in Design, Packaging, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Integration

  • Play an active role in developing Murphy's cybersecurity vision, roadmap, and execution plan
  • Serve as a strategic liaison between cybersecurity, IT, and business units to align security initiatives with organizational goals
  • Lead or contribute to the development of enterprise-wide security programs (e.g., Zero Trust, Data Protection, Secure by Design)
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistent implementation of security controls across infrastructure, applications, and operations
  • Support the Head of Cybersecurity in providing subject matter expertise to executive leadership on security posture, architectural gaps, and program maturity

Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Licenses/ Certifications

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or other technical fields
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in a combination of cybersecurity and IT governance, with demonstrated expertise in both GRC and technical architecture roles
  • 2 years of experience working in a Big 4 consulting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG), with exposure to cybersecurity advisory, risk management, or compliance services is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and technical domains (e.g., network, cloud, identity, data protection)
  • Experience with secure SDLC, DevSecOps integration, and infrastructure/cloud security design
