**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner
+ Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects
+ Operate light and heavy equipment, handles various hand tools and powered industrial tools, works with vibration-producing tools
+ Wear and properly use a variety of personal protective Equipment (PPE). Including respirators, skin, face, hand and foot protection in a multiple number of combinations
+ Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
+ Work in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some of which may be hazardous, toxic, or corrosive
+ Work in potentially elevated noise levels, confined spaces, including lifting in areas of low clearance
+ Work at elevations including working from ladders and scaffolding
+ Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters
+ Climb ladders, scaffolding and into and out of trucks, tanks, and various other containers
+ Work extended (> 8 hrs.) time periods
+ Attend all compliance and safety update meetings
+ Inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance
+ Safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
+ Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling as necessary
+ Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
+ Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
+ Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
+ Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
+ Perform other duties as assigned
+ By position, ability to be on call for emergency response on rotating basis every other week
+ By position, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials

This position will begin with on-site OJT at the OEM in Syracuse, NY then on-site OCONUS, which would last multiple months at a time. The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the vital work of maintaining diagnostic tools, which directly influences patient health and well-being.
This position is part of the Service Organization located in Syracuse and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Field Service Team reporting to the Service Manager and responsible for ensuring optimal performance of Beckman Coulter equipment. This position services the Chem/IA/Automation platforms. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Working independently, handle troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs of Beckman Coulter equipment, including providing excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulter's customers, along with technical training on products.
+ Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times. Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning and advancing team goals.
+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders, understanding and meeting their requirements, while also helping train newer Field Service Engineers.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Associate degree or equivalent military experience (Applicants with applicable military experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
+ 1 - 2 year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
· Ability to travel - list specifics 20% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
· Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
· Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements
+ It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Building Bright Futures! Brightstaris seeking a Lottery Field Services Technician in the Syracuse, NY area. The Lottery Field Services Technician is responsible for servicing Brightstar equipment at retailer (customer) locations and will be part of our award-winning lottery services organization.
+ Responsible for transporting, installing (if applicable), and maintainingBrightstarequipment, replacement parts, tools, and other equipment in an organized and structured manner.
+ Attend driver training and follow theBrightstarvehicle policy regarding the use and maintenance of company vehicles.
+ Maintain equipment to promote the continuous operation of Brightstarequipment.
+ Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning, and/or minor adjustments of the malfunctioning component.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $ _29,120 - $52,458_ . The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower.
