**DESCRIPTION**
**We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Engine Technician / Mechanic to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business in White Hall, WV.**
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:**
+ Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field.
+ Develop productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
+ Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.
+ Assist with completion required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
+ Complete training in line with skill and business requirements
+ Ensure adherence to all meaningful Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**To be successful in this role you will need the following:**
+ (Significant relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on most or all of products in-scope for a technician at this location; frequently engaged in complex diagnosis and repair; requires minimal to no supervision; ability to effectively train and guide less experienced technicians of varying skillsets.
+ Flexibility to work various hours and days of the week with the ability to be on call and available for emergency needs.
+ Must meet all requirements to drive a Company vehicle including a valid driver's license and insurance.
+ Must be able to physically lift 50 pounds occasionally, wear required personal protective equipment as required.
+ Locally valid driving permit **Education, Licenses, Certifications:** Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Locally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Basic level field service work experienceIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsCustomer service experience
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Prefer candidate to have the following qualifications
CDL
Miners Card (40 and 80 hour)
NFPA 70E Training
Working knowledge of all Cummins engine platforms
Technician will be required to support PG in the field as needed to include load banking, PM services, and repairs
- A current valid license is required for this role
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- 3 years driving experience
- This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.

The Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the vital work of maintaining diagnostic tools, which directly influences patient health and well-being. This position is part of the Service Organization located in Morgantown, WV and surrounding territory and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the Field Service Team reporting to the territory supervisor and responsible for ensuring optimal performance of Beckman Coulter equipment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Working independently, handle troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and service repair needs of Beckman Coulter equipment, including providing excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulter's customers, along with technical training on products.
+ Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times. Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning and advancing team goals.
+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders, understanding and meeting their requirements, while also helping train newer Field Service Engineers.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Associate degree or equivalent military experience (Applicants with applicable military experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis)
+ 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation
+ Hold a current valid driver's license and good driving record over the last three . Ability to travel (providing service in an assigned geography and periodic travel to other areas/overnight). Candidates must be able to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted (tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.). Candidates must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods of time. Candidates must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, have good hand , and finger dexterity .
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
· Ability to travel - list specifics 20% travel, overnight, within territory or locations
· Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
· Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ 2+ years' experience of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and/or service repair.
