Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 3-month contract in St. Louis, IL 62220.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

**Required Skills & Experience**
+ 1-3 years hardware repair hands-on experience (printers, PCs, POS, etc.), break-fix, use of power tools (e.g., drills), and familiar with the ticketing system.
+ Lexmark certifications and experience.
+ Experience with Lexmark printer break-fix and equipment installs, and HP, Dell, and Lenovo.
+ Previous Field Service and/or Desktop, POS, printer Break/Fix experience
+ Excellent technical troubleshooting and customer service skills

+ Driving to client sites and providing general IT support to multiple customers (retailers, banks, etc.)

+ Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking to hire several full time Field Service Technicians Level II. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing technical support of DRS Land Systems products through prototyping, testing, fielding, and follow on support stages of various programs to internal and external customers. The selected candidate must be able and willing to travel/deploy to CONUS and OCONUS internal and external customer locations 50-75% of the time.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for providing routine technical support for maintenance, repairs, modification, equipment setup and testing
+ Troubleshoot and determine equipment issues by utilizing drawings and technical documentation
+ Conduct repairs and/or modifications using a variety of hand tools and test equipment

**Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of relevant experience

+ Must be able and willing to travel to CONUS (Contiguous United States) locations to perform repairs, upgrades, provide fielding support, and other assignments as required. Technicians can expect to be away from their home of record (St. Louis, MO & surrounding area) 50-75% of the year on average
+ Must be able and willing to travel to OCONUS (Outside the Contiguous United States) locations to provide field support. Locations are generally on the European & Asian continents; however, travel to Africa and Australia may be required for future programs. Rotation periods are generally 4 to 6 months at a time
+ Fundamental understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and configuration files, a plus
+ Proficient in the use of a laptop computers, mobile devices, and related software
+ Must have or be eligible to obtain U.S. passport
+ Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance is required
+ Computer proficiency with MS Office application experience, including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint; detailed understanding and use of database technologies helpful
