Job Title

Provides the full spectrum of Army training to include classroom (platform and small group), Hands-on/practical exercise, role-playing (simulation/virtual) and Field exercise training. This instructor teaches multiple 1-week courses that include: Introduction to Supply functions aligned to Shop Operations, Maintenance on Training Aids, Supplies, Classroom Administration.

Clearance: Requires a favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) prior to commencement of performance under this contract.

Education: HS degree. AA or Bachelors degree in Supply, Logistics or relevant field preferred.

Experience: Previous Army experience in Supply is highly preferred. Additional requirements include but not limited to: a) five years of experience around military logistic operations or equivalent, b) received official instructor courses form the military or civilian sectors, c) must have performed as an instructor for more than two years, and d) provide qualifications and/or certifications associated with the course work material. e) experience associated with supply role user of the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A). f) knowledge with Power Business Intelligence and Decision Support Tool.

Responsibilities include but not limited to: The Supply Instructor is responsible for conducting resident training courses that support Army Reserve Civilian employees associated with maintenance and supply operations. Instructors are required to prepare classroom or training areas and pick up and return training devices as needed; apply advanced instructional methods and adult learning models to training; train to standard as they conduct classroom discussion / lecture / demonstration / practical exercise training per class training schedule; support conducting and assessing student critiques to identify strengths, weaknesses, and actions to improve performance; review and summarize student course critiques; schedule remedial training as needed; conduct academic counseling; review and grade projects and tests; for certain courses, prepare and forward required documentation on student release prior to graduation; generate reports, documents, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, and correspondence for respective training courses. Instructors shall prepare training materials, develop training aids, set up classrooms, and deliver instruction. With the use of training materials or aids, the instructor shall prepare training support and exercise support functions for training courses. The instructor shall: a) Prepare and maintain training venues and materials. b) Ready training venues and materials IAW course requirements. c) Prepare class records, writing material, method to validate, administer, and score examinations. d) Include the use of Computer Based Training (CBT) and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) during lesson plan development. The Practical Nursing Instructor position is a 12-month full-time faculty position for the Practical Nursing program on Georgia Piedmont Technical College’s Newton County Campus. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Health, Education, Public and Professional Services, the faculty member will provide theory and practical instruction sufficient for students to develop the skills necessary to become employed in the Practical Nursing profession. The position requires the supervision of students during patient care and requires flexibility to teach day or evening classes as well as 12-hour clinical rotations on weekdays and/or weekends.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for credit technical/occupational courses.

  • Develops program and syllabi, goals and objectives. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.

  • Requests and maintains supplies and equipment.

  • Maintains program certification requirements, as appropriate.

  • Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports.

  • Attends staff development training, workshops, seminars and conferences.

  • Ensures safety and security requirements are met in the training area.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited college or university, with completed coursework comparable to the curriculum taught, or relevant experience/expertise in the subject area. Candidate must hold appropriate credentials to meet all accrediting body standards for assigned courses. Candidates must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Georgia, in good standing, and maintain current CPR certification. Extensive experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing within the past five years or more is required.

Applicants should have at least five years of clinical experience within the last seven years, with a preference for Medical-Surgical nursing. Work experience should reflect the competencies, skills, and knowledge necessary for effective instruction. Occupational experience must also align with current requirements set by the appropriate licensing boards for the instructional area. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

The Cellular Technical Instructor's primary role is to conduct classroom, vehicle, and scenario-based training for the different cellular technologies. **Where You Will Work **  
In operation since 2007, Safford operations is a zero-discharge facility and one of the most sustainable mines in the United States. The operation's commitment to utilizing advanced technologies and sustainable practices strongly emphasizes safety and environmental stewardship. Located in southeastern Arizona, close to more than 4 million acres of national forest, employees and their families can connect with the great outdoors while fishing, rafting, hiking and more. Several educational institutions also are nearby, including a Northern Arizona University satellite campus, Eastern Arizona College, and the Gila Institute for Technology.  
**What You Will Do**
+ Deliver/facilitate on and off the job Competency Based Technical Training in both the classroom and field to develop skills and competencies in the area of expertise.
+ Assist to schedule and communicate learning programs. Follow schedules to ensure that programs are delivered as planned.
+ Assist to create competency-based learning materials so that learning programs delivered achieve their intended learning outcomes.
+ Assist to create competency-based assessment tools, professionally conduct on and off the job competency assessments in field of expertise to ensure standards are met.
+ Accurately record and report participant learning and assessment results so that participant records are consistently kept up to date and recorded in the company learning management system.
+ Respond to customer learning and development requirements. Provide appropriate technical support and advise in order to assist, meet/exceed customer expectations.
+ Perform other duties as required.
**What You Bring To Freeport**
+ Have achieved a level of technical competence equivalent to that of an Assistant Instructor, master tradesperson, or similar level of proven competency and seven (7) years directly related work experience, **OR**
+ Bachelor's Degree **and** three (3) years directly related work experience.
+ Qualifications in the delivery and assessment of competency-based learning programs.
+ Skill in analytical thinking
+ Skill in the delivery and assessment of competency-based learning programs
+ Demonstrate behaviors that match technical training values, follow and apply Freeport-McMoRan Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures in order to be a role model for development program participants.
+ Demonstrate competence in the principles and application of competency-based learning so that development programs delivered and assessed meet Computer Based Development standards.
+ Understand and competently apply professionally accepted principles to adult learning so that learners are given maximum opportunity to develop job competence.
+ Travel of 75% or more

+ High School Diploma or GED
+ 10 years of fixed plant experience
+ 3G/4G Welding Certificate

The estimated pay range for this role is currently  **$35.50 - $49.00/hour** . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Teach, mentor, and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)
Assist in the development and implementation of course curriculum and Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)
Provide training as needed on specialized technical equipment
Instructors must be able to design and deliver technical training to students at the novice, apprentice, journeyman, and master levels in courses that vary in complexity, duration, and frequency of offering

Required qualifications:
Top Secret/SCI clearance (with the ability to get a Full Scope Polygraph)
Experience with technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism objectives

A candidate for this position is a graduate of the Interagency Training Center's Basic Technical Operations (BTOC) course (or equivalent) and have at least 6 years of practical experience in:

Photo and video production software (Photoshop/Premiere) experience
Operating audio systems, recorders, transmitters and microphones
Installing covert audio and/or video systems
Configuring digital video recorders and video transmission systems.
Operating video systems, recorders and transmitters
Utilizing GPS and radiofrequency tracking systems
Installing covert surveillances devices in vehicles
Locking systems, lock picking, manipulation and bypass techniques
Completion of an Undergrad or Graduate degree in Education and Training maybe considered in lieu of teaching experience. Undergrad or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Science, and Physics may be considered in lieu of Technical Surveillance or TSCM experience
