Role: Senior Technical Leader

Location(s): Three options - Boston, MA | Iselin, NJ | Charlotte, NC

Duration: 7+ months with possibility of extension

Summary: This newly created role will provide full life cycle analysis, development, testing, support and complex problem resolution to meet customer requirements for the Digital Metrics Dashboard within our newly formed Digital Organization. This industry leading dashboard plays a critical role in helping manage our new Digital business and ensuring success for our firm. The dashboard provides measures for customer sales, migration of transactions from analog (paper, call center) to our digital channels and measures improvements in our customer experience through digital completion rates. The successful candidate will participate in systems design, analysis, solution definition, data provisioning, documentation and integration testing of enhancements and new capabilities of the dashboard. The candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance and testing of the dashboard, utilizing prescribed testing practices and tools. The dashboard team operates in a fast paced agile environment, is adept at solutioning with minimal documentation available and operates without role boundaries.

Responsibilities:

Schedule Management:

Supports the Project/Program Manager in development of plans and high level schedule

Identifies dependencies, milestones, and critical paths

Able to multi-task and prioritize activities to address complex needs of a large organization

Adapts quickly to moving targets and changes in requirements

Systems Analysis and Design:

Collaborates with other technology and development staff to provide solution alternatives that ensure key deliverables are achieved

Documents the technical requirements, design, and testing information to ensure quality output that meets stated and implied business needs

Participates in functional and technical troubleshooting and problem solving in collaboration with the technical and business teams

Interacts with various development groups within and outside the dashboard team to understand system dependencies and recommend solution alternatives that ensure key deliverables are achieved

Follows technical processes, designs, and solutions as recommended

Identifies and manages dependencies and interdependencies between different applications and products

Assists in driving digital metrics delivery for the Digital Organization

Quality Management:

Plans testing tasks and creates test plans and test cases following the methodology defined and using prescribed testing tools

Conducts Integration Testing and ensures testing is compliant with the approved integration test plan and expected results

Monitors overall test execution and manages contingency planning for test plan variances

Responsible for defect reporting and tracking; including collaboration on defect resolutions with developers/partners and identification of retest requirements

Participates in Code Reviews to ensure code is compliant with recommended practices

Performs data analysis and monitoring to ensure data quality

Implementation Management:

Supports the creation and execution of the implementation plan for technical deliverables as well as providing production support

Creates the Release Notes and appropriate communications around the implementation

Risk & Issue Management:

Identifies and supports the resolution of risks that could impact ability to deliver results within the stated objectives

Understand and manage the effect of change (regulatory, market or internal) on business processes, IT solutions and tools

Qualifications

Required Skills:

5-10 years of experience including work with systems analysis/development, testing, and project management.

Financial Services industry experience desired

Knowledge of various software development methodologies and the corresponding processes, activities, and deliverables (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

Advanced understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.

Technical skills regarding web application development (Java), database architecture (Oracle, DB2, Teradata), data provisioning, and ETL

Experience with data aggregation, data visualization, business intelligence and data analytics a plus. Basic SQL skills are required.

Proficiency in reporting and querying tools including but not limited to: Tableau, HTML, CSS, Splunk, Toad for MySQL and Microsoft Office Suite products

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven problem solving skills

Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly

Consumer Testing Infrastructure
Design, develop, and maintain robust testing infrastructure to simulate consumer environments and validate integration solutions. Consumer Advocacy

Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to facilitate the effective use of Talos Cloud Services. Serve as a Lead resource for Cisco internal teams, ensuring alignment between Talos Cloud Services capabilities and organizational needs.
**Minimum Qualifications**
-10+ years experience in integration development. software engineering, consumer advocacy in an engineering environment, or related experience
-Experience designing and maintaining testing frameworks for integrations
-Experience supporting cloud-based platforms and services, preferably Talos Cloud Services or similar
-Technical writing and documentation experience
-Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco's flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco's Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Talos Development & Engineering organization plays a pivotal role in providing critical security intelligence, data, and tools to both the research teams and Cisco XDR, Meraki, Secure Access, Security Email, Secure Web, enterprise networking, and firewall products to protect our enterprise customers from cyberattacks by providing detection capabilities via hosted services in the cloud.
**Your Impact**
We are seeking an expert and motivated Integration Technical Leader to lead all aspects of consumer integrations while also acting as a key resource for internal teams leveraging Talos Cloud Services. The Technical Leader will craft and maintain documentation, design testing infrastructures, and advocate for consumer needs with internal development teams. Additionally, this Integration Leader will provide technical on support to Talos teams in effectively employing Talos Cloud Services, ensuring alignment and seamless operations across teams.
Consumer Integration Documentation
Craft, update, and maintain detailed documentation on customer integrations, including setup guides, trouble-shooting resources, and technical specifications. Ensure documentation is user-friendly, comprehensive, and accessible to both technical and non-technical personnel. Establish and enforce standards and best practices for integration documentation.
Consumer Testing Infrastructure
Design, develop, and maintain robust testing infrastructure to simulate consumer environments and validate integration solutions. Collaborate with consumers to ensure the testing infrastructure meets their requirements and use cases. Continuously improve and optimize testing environments for scalability, reliability, and ease of use.
Consumer Advocacy
Act as a representative of consumer needs, ensuring their requirements, challenges, and feedback are effectively communicated to internal development teams. Partner with product managers, engineers, and others to ensure integration solutions align with consumer expectations. Provide actionable recommendations to internal teams based on insights gathered from consumer interactions and testing outcomes.
Support for Talos Cloud Services
Provide technical guidance and mentorship, supporting internal Talos teams in using Talos Cloud Services. Assist with trouble-shooting, onboarding, and adoption of Talos Cloud Services across internal teams. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to facilitate the effective use of Talos Cloud Services. Serve as a Lead resource for Cisco internal teams, ensuring alignment between Talos Cloud Services capabilities and organizational needs.
**Minimum Qualifications**
-10+ years experience in integration development. software engineering, consumer advocacy in an engineering environment, or related experience
-Experience designing and maintaining testing frameworks for integrations
-Experience supporting cloud-based platforms and services, preferably Talos Cloud Services or similar
-Technical writing and documentation experience
-Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
**Preferred Qualifications**
-Familiarity with APIs, REST/gRPC protocols, and cloud services
-Excellent problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities
-Superb communication and collaboration skills
-Experience working directly with consumers or internal teams in a technical support role
-Familiarity with Talos Cloud Services or equivalent cloud platforms
-Certification in integration platforms or cloud services technologies
-Experience with agile workflows and cross-functional collaboration
