Product Ownership:
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for procurement solutions, aligning with organizational goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Own the product lifecycle for procurement platforms and tools, including procurement systems and asset management.
- Understand business processes and offer future-state recommendations to steer toward leading practice outcomes.
- Translate business needs into actionable product requirements with clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Understand and evaluate internal and external technological tools and solutions to support product roadmap.
- Engage and support vendor management and selection of tools and solutions.
- Translate complex business needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of the end to end processes within a STP (Source to Pay) work stream.
- Work closely with procurement team, customer-facing product teams, and broader cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and drive consensus.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, managing expectations and fostering strong relationships.
- Create a future-state procurement roadmap that considers and incorporates larger enterprise product roadmaps and timelines.
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvement across the procurement organization.
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend enhancements using data-driven insights and industry best practices.
- Ensure that product solutions meet compliance requirements within the procurement domain.
- Utilize KPIs and data analytics to monitor the performance of supply chain solutions and guide prioritization decisions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and innovations in procurement and supply chain technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. (Required)
- Maters Degree a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in product management or procurement operations.
- 7 years experience building product roadmaps within a large scale organization. (Required)
- Experience with procurement ERP systems such as SAP Ariba and/or Oracle Cloud as well as other niche procurement system offering in the marketplace.
- Telecom experience (Preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and product management tools like Jira, Confluence, and roadmap platforms.
- Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong understanding of data analytics tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of supply chain systems in market and on the horizon.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
